horngeek Posted June 24, 2014 Posted June 24, 2014 ...huh. Kit has Attractive, eh. *notes down for future reference*
Brown Dynamite Posted June 24, 2014 Author Posted June 24, 2014 It pops up once in a blue never though because she's always around oooold people.
KnightDisciple Posted June 26, 2014 Posted June 26, 2014 Hilarious shenanigans are sure to abound, because this thread's events are occurring (for Will and Cho) almost 2 weeks before >this thread. But if the lady who founded New Freedom (Jade Harper) is around during the competition, she might somehow remember the kids! You might check with AA on that, but for me personally it seems like a great chance for hilarious shenanigans.
Blue Rose Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 Sam's Attractive actually came up once before! And only once before!
Blue Rose Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 Sleight of Hand to conceal Sam's thiefing tools and an iPod full of seditious propaganda.Sleight of Hand to hide stuff: 1d20+12 27
Blue Rose Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 So. Headmistress is going into our heads without our consent. What would I have to roll to have her "accidentally" trip over some of Sam's more terrifying memories of hellfire and damnation on her way out of her head? Which is to say, use Emotion Control: Fear without it looking deliberate. Bluff?
Brown Dynamite Posted October 7, 2014 Author Posted October 7, 2014 Well she's not actively reading anything. So much as she's putting information in there. Although if you still want to have one of Sam's memories be so particularly horrifying that it stands out even when she wasn't actively mind reading just by having her mental presence. I say go for it, bluff and all. Might have her a bit grudge holding.
Blue Rose Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 Bluff o' Brainomancy: 1d20+13 25DC 17 Will against Emotion Control: Fear. Though even if she resists and hides any overt reaction, it's probably not pleasant. After she makes her rolls, I can make my post, or if you have something fancy in mind, you can make up what she sees.
Brown Dynamite Posted October 8, 2014 Author Posted October 8, 2014 Bluff vs Bluff: 1d20+15 30 It's not a failure so much as she's not completely left engrossed in the effect. Well she has a base will score of 17. So she can't fail. So the question shall be by how much she resists! Will vs Emotion Control: 1d20+17 31 She resists of course. But doesn't stop her from seeing what she sees for the narrative! You can post away.
Blue Rose Posted October 11, 2014 Posted October 11, 2014 Haukea's mouth opened a bit at the mental tour. Okay, that... might have been a violations of some sort, and she was definitely a bit nervous about the possibility of... rummaging. But still. That was impressive. And in some ways, it was a lot like Claremont, except more open, and... less comforting. Blinking for a moment, she spoke up. "Um... if we did want to mingle, where would most of the students be at the moment? Just to... maybe chat?" After all, just because it was a competition, it didn't mean she couldn't... try to be friendly. A hint of a blush crossed her face as Kit's... suggestions came back to her. Not thinking about that with the possibly evil psychic. There's no reason for it to happen and I'm tempting fate now aren't I.Y'know, I think a post like that warrants either a bluff roll or a will save to go along with it. :P
horngeek Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 Haukea tries rolling Bluff not to think of various things! Yeah, unmodified Bluff result of 5.
