A loud booming noise echoed overhead.  Suddenly the culverts shook with such ferocity it almost seemed as if the ceiling would cave in on them.  Instead the ceiling above them crumbled.  Creating a large opening to the water above.  And providing a clear view of one of Captain Kraken's ships bombing the Atlantean city.  "It seems me boys have finally locked on to our location.  Thank ye lasses for roughing my loot up.  You'll do well to remember this as the day you almost caught the great Captain Kraken!"

Spinning with practiced haste, Kraken drew his blaster pistol on Tsunami.  Attempting to shoot the girl as the opening gambit of his betrayal.  Before the trigger was pulled, Glamazon was already swimming directly in the captain's firing path.  The pistol's blast sizzling out ineffectively against her flesh.  Much to the space pirate's chagrin.  Tapping his pistol he began to show visible frustration  "Argh!  Is this thing on?"

Temperance looked up. On the one hand, there was an extremely pissed off giant monster from the abyssal depths, even if it was somewhat confined at this time. On the other hand, Captain Kraken was going to be opening fire on them from above with the full power of his stupid space pirate ship thing. They'd already blown one hole through the ceiling; while they might take time to blow another, she was not happy with the idea of giving them cover.

"I'm sorry," she said to the captain. "I'm kind of getting tired of you destroying everything and thinking you can just waltz out." She raised her hands; above her, the watery exit crystallized at rapid speed. She was able to worm the ice around the lip of the hole so that the ice didn't go plummeting into the room, while also worming it around the ceiling so that someone couldn't just push it out the hole with sufficient force. "Isn't it awful when something just gets in the way?"

Giang had been prepared to dodge the not unexpected attack from Captain Kraken, when Thaelia leapt between the two, easily taking the blast that was meant for the Asian teen.  But what was more alarming to her, was the hole that was blasted in the ceiling by the alien pirate's crew.  But then Eliza took action to block that opening, at least buying them some time before the pirates could continue any attack against them.

With the threat of the pirates at least reduced for the moment, Giang turned her attention back to the Dakuwanga.  As her already serious expression hardened slightly, the Asian teen brought her hands up once again, to send yet another powerful blast of twisting coils of water at the creature.  Once again the blast struck the Dakuwanga solidly in the torso.  This time, however, the blast struck with such force that the creature was knocked off its feet and sent backward into the prison walls.  While the wall withstood the impact, several cracks did form along its surface, as the Dakuwanga collapsed in a dazed heap on the floor.

"I believe the phrase is.  Tagging in Tsunami."  Glamazon darted forward towards Dakuwanga.  Its body may have been slumped on the ground.  But the creature was not out of the fight yet.  The Glamazon's powerful body crashed into Dakuwanga.  The creature's head slamming back into the wall.  Snapping its mighty jaw at nothing in particular in the water.  The signs of damage continuing to show.

"Splendid show Temperance!"  The Atlantean called out in applause of Temperance blocking off the pirate's support.  Bubbles of air escaping her mouth as she spoke thanks to the clumsiness of talking in English rather than Atlantean underwater.  At least after moving hundreds of miles an hour into a massive creature.

Captain Kraken twirled his blaster pistol in his hand.  "Aye, just awful lass.  Well you don't get a bit of booty without taking a few risks.  Boy's charge up the energy torpedoes.  We're in for a party."  Kraken then began firing his blaster at Temperance a series of shoots aimed center mass.  She tried to swim out of the way of the shots, but the bolts actually turned in the water to hit Temperance on the side.

"I don't kill t' wee ones lasses. Don't mean I won't make you rue day you crossed the great Captain Kraken!  Can't get away with it.  Arrr ha ha.  Let the victors decide what a man can get away with."  The space pirate cephalopod cockily gloated.  A wisp of smoke rising from his pistol (no doubt an aesthetic addition as there was no reason for a blaster pistol to leave such a sign after firing).

In the distance the heroines could see the canons on Captain Kraken's ships re-positioning themselves.  Apparently hearing his command through some means of communication.  The action was a confirmation that the ice above them was about to be faced with some heavy ordinance.

Very well, then. Try to be clever, and still end up dealing with idiots who thought a big gun and a bigger rage-monster made you worthy of getting everything you wanted. Force just had to be met with force.

"Yes," she said, "let the winners decide." The salt water around her grew colder with amazing rapidity. "Of course, you haven't won anything yet, have you? You're just a little child keen on knocking over his blocks because you don't like how the other children are playing. You call yourself daring and debonair, but you're nothing of the sort. You're just somebody who wants everyone else to play your game." The water around her froze into a wall of perfect golfball-sized bullets. "Well, guess what? It's my playground."

And the bullets flew off at top speed, aimed right at Kraken.

With Temperance managing to knock Captain Kraken off balance, Giang kept her attention focused on the Dakuwanga.  The creature was certainly proving to be very resilient, but the Asian teen had managed to stagger it with her last attack.  Taking another step forward, she thrust her hands forward once more, sending another blast of twisting jets of water flying toward the bioweapon.  Through sheer force of will, Giang guided the attack to strike the Dakuwanga dead center once more, knocking it back into the wall one more time as it then dropped to the ground unconscious.

The teen then turned slightly, swinging one hand around to send another blast of water at Captain Kraken, catching the alien pirate off guard.  The blast knocked him off his feet as well and into a crumpled, unconscious heap on the opposite side of the chamber.

Taking a brief moment to catch her breath, Giang then looked upward toward where Kraken's vessel had been attacking the area they were in with its weapons.  "Now we just have to silence those guns."  She stated to her two friends.

Glamazon looked up at the Icy barrier.  With the immediate threats incapacitated it was as Tsunami said the remaining concern where the ships floating overhead.  "Well done friends.  Then let us see fit to put an end to this invasion.  First, I must seal this accursed creature back inside its cell."

Although Glamazon wasn't entirely sure of how much of Captain Kraken's tale of the Bioweapon was true.  But, the three of them had just experienced first hand knowledge at how dangerous the creature was.  Which meant leaving the creature unattended while they fought off a pirate attack felt like folly.  Especially when the Atlantean military wouldn't just sit back and do nothing all the while.

As such she stretched out with an arm to grasp Dakuwanga and hoist it up with ease.
