Tiffany Korta Posted November 2, 2014 Author Posted November 2, 2014 GM Post The giant robot for now ignored the rest of Next-Gen and instead seemed to focus on it’s initial prey. “You surrender would have made thing easier on these metahumans. Either way you will pay for you crime.†With a loud hum it’s massive blaster fired off a powerful blast of energy, which missed it target completely. Though the bench that had only recently been sitting at had seen better days.
Tiffany Korta Posted November 2, 2014 Author Posted November 2, 2014 “I shall assist you in detaining the prisioner fellow unit.†There was almost an hint ot humour in the robot’s voice which suggested they were a little more human than they seemed. It moved with an unnatural speed and before anyone could react struck miss Grue a solid blow in the chest sending the alien woman flying backwards through the park. She landed awkwardly and stayed still from this distance it was difficult to tell if she was, or needed to, breath.
RobRX Posted November 16, 2014 Posted November 16, 2014 Meanwhile, Cho's attempt at taking down one of the robot turns out to be quite the catastrophic failure as she charges at it, only to end up crashing into the ground next to it, splitting and rupturing it, creating a cloud of dirt and debris. "Aaah, damn it not again!" Cho shouted, as she realized she had once again done a rather reckless and ill-advised charge. Such maneuver was absolutely nothing new from her.
Brown Dynamite Posted November 17, 2014 Posted November 17, 2014 Thaelia turned to try and spot the unconscious girl. Apparently the Lor robots didn't care about the condition they took their prisoner in. She could respect the logic. If they weren't just machines that was. For her part, Thaelia, moved like a freight train. A freight train that the average eye couldn't keep up with. But a freight train ever the same. Slamming her shoulder full force into the robot that that had hit Stronghold. "Do not let yourself be disheartened the tide of battle will always swing in the way of justice. Hold thy position and defend the civilian." Thaelia called out enthusiastically. Pieces of metal scraping off merely by the force of her attack as she pushed the robot near Stronghold further back . The charge left her open for a counter attack. Her center of balance slipping in the process. "Thou shalt not pass." To her credit, Thaelia knew very little pop culture. Enough that even Will's 80's references were not dated to her. So the smile on her face upon making one of her own that others might understand, no matter how corny, was nothing short of enormous. Grinning ear to ear despite the serious situation. The warrior princess was at her core most comfortable in a battlefield.
