Avenger Assembled Posted July 18, 2014 Author Posted July 18, 2014 All right, I need a DC 24 Will save for Gina Evans.
Electra Posted July 18, 2014 Posted July 18, 2014 Gina is feeling very willful! A nat 20, for a total of 30
Avenger Assembled Posted July 18, 2014 Author Posted July 18, 2014 Something Gina has no experience with at all is taking control of the robot! It's not painful or wrenching; it's as if something glowing and beautiful is muscling in on your action - it's like being mugged by an angel. You have one full round to take action - note that the Kill Switch will not work.
Avenger Assembled Posted July 29, 2014 Author Posted July 29, 2014 Steve is probably gonna intervene here. http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/4588141/ = 16 Steve goes on 16 http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/4588143/ = 19 Miss A goes on 19 http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/4588144/ Southern Belle goes on 11

Avenger Assembled Posted July 29, 2014 Author Posted July 29, 2014 The check here is not an easy one - let's call it a Knowledge (Civics) or (History) check; DC is 30.
EternalPhoenix Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 Initiative... 31. That is one fast brain. Knowledge (History)... Lady luck favors me more. Yay?
Avenger Assembled Posted July 29, 2014 Author Posted July 29, 2014 Southern Belle was a manifestation of Lady Liberty that erupted during the American Civil War. Southern Belle wasn't a monster - but she was a brutal soldier of a white supremacist regime, one who disappeared after the conflict had finished. Lady Liberty has occasionally talked about Southern Belle, but only in deeply regretful terms. No one ever learned her name, as most of the records were destroyed after the war.
Avenger Assembled Posted July 30, 2014 Author Posted July 30, 2014 Terrifica: 31 Set: 19 Miss Americana: 19 Harrier: 16, +1 HP for his relationship complication with Miss Americana Temperance: 13 Sekhmet: 6 Southern Belle: 6 Go ahead and post, EP.
trollthumper Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 Gah, slow on the draw.Temperance goes on 13.No Knowledge check.
EternalPhoenix Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 I know what I'll do. I'll take out the Terrifi-Staff, and ready an action to be used later. Because I can do that. Nyah.
Gizmo Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 SetMove Action: Configure Shapeshift: Flight 3 (50 MPH; Drawbacks: Power Loss [Restrained]) [5PP] (raptor wings)Move Action: Fly after Southern Belle.Extra Effort: Surge.Move Action: Taunt Southern Belle.: 1d20+16 36
Avenger Assembled Posted August 2, 2014 Author Posted August 2, 2014 Miss Americana: Lady Liberty, still jacked up on patriotism, isn't much for strategy right now. Move: Fly over Standard: Punch Southern Belle! http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/4592291/ = 26 That hits! DC 27 Tou save... http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/4592292/ = 11 Well, we all know the forces of reaction and racism can't be taken out of the fight that easily. She takes a Bruise Harrier is up, with Gina Evans chiming in in his ear.
Avenger Assembled Posted August 3, 2014 Author Posted August 3, 2014 Free Action: Activate his Concealment Move Action: Harrier flies over to the fallen Southern Belle Standard Action: attempt a grapple on the Liberty-Americana robot. http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/4593377/ (he catches her flat-footed as his Concealment drops) Harrier's Grapple: http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/4593380/ = 24 Even with the +5 making that 29, that's not so good... Miss A's Grapple: http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/4593382/ = 29 Agh! So she still gets loose. All right, working on an IC post - then Sekhmet will be up

Avenger Assembled Posted August 4, 2014 Author Posted August 4, 2014 Her Penetrating is juuuust too low to get through Southern Belle's Impervious - but she does taunt her successfully.
Avenger Assembled Posted August 5, 2014 Author Posted August 5, 2014 Whoops, looks like I skipped Temperance - go ahead and post, TT
trollthumper Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 Move Action: Intimidate. 17.Standard Action: Snare 9. 21.
Avenger Assembled Posted August 5, 2014 Author Posted August 5, 2014 http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/4595531/ = 24 Not intimidated And that misses! Southern Belle attacks Temperance She switches to her Enhanced STR + Super-Strength array slow Standard Action: http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/4595533/ = 28 She All-Out Attacks for +2, giving her a +14 Unarmed Attack bonus - which hits! Grapple check: http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/4595541/ = 24 Wow, that's a bad roll! Temperance could potentially beat it.
Avenger Assembled Posted August 5, 2014 Author Posted August 5, 2014 New round! Terrifica is up. Feel free to stunt something to get close I think our only change in status conditions is that Southern Belle is bruised, and Temperance is currently bound and helpless.
EternalPhoenix Posted August 7, 2014 Posted August 7, 2014 (edited) Ooookay. Stunting, as I understand it, is grabbing a AP of a power for this turn only. So, Terrifica will stunt Leaping of off the Enhanced STR in her Nano-Fiber Armor. How much, you ask? Immaterial, I tell you. I can get up to Leaping 6, which is more than enough. Gonna leap right into the fray, and see if I can't bring the hammer down with the Terrifi-staff on the way down. And by that I mean as much Power Attack as someone without that feat can muster as per Da Rules.18 DC 21 Edited August 7, 2014 by EternalPhoenix
Avenger Assembled Posted August 7, 2014 Author Posted August 7, 2014 Normally that would be a miss - but it hits because Southern Belle is grappling! Unfortunately, it does not penetrate her Impervious! Which is certainly paying for itself this fight. Go ahead and post, EP
