Thevshi Posted September 20, 2014 Author Posted September 20, 2014 Round Five 22 Coiled Lightning (bruise 2, 2 HP) 7 Big Thug (bruised) 6 Thugs (2 left) 3 Slice 3 Police
ca_lazerdwarf Posted September 21, 2014 Posted September 21, 2014 Going to try to take down the big guy before he gets the capsule open.4 points of power attack1d20+4=10Probably a miss. If so, hero point for reroll1d20+4=10 +10, so that's a 20DC 26 damage
Thevshi Posted September 21, 2014 Author Posted September 21, 2014 The big guy gets a 25, so he is bruised (now at 3).
Thevshi Posted September 21, 2014 Author Posted September 21, 2014 The two thugs continue to try to attack the police, and continue to miss. A van pulls around the corner and stops near the demolition site, a side door opening. The leader with the energy pistol fires at Coiled once again, missing this time with a 15. The police continue their fight with the thugs. They both hit. Both thugs make their saves, one with a 19, the other with a 23.
Thevshi Posted September 21, 2014 Author Posted September 21, 2014 Round Six 22 Coiled Lightning (bruise 2, 1 HP) 7 Big Thug (bruise 3) 6 Thugs (2 left) 3 Slice 3 Police Back to Coiled Lightning!
ca_lazerdwarf Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 Going to try to disarm the big guy of his bag of loot.To Hit:1d20+8=21Opposed Check: 1d20+10=28
Thevshi Posted September 22, 2014 Author Posted September 22, 2014 He only gets a 21, so is disarmed of the dufflebag. So you force him to drop the bag.
ca_lazerdwarf Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 Can I grab the bag, and use extra effort to take an extra action to swing up to a rooftop?
Thevshi Posted September 22, 2014 Author Posted September 22, 2014 Sure, I'll let you take a normal move action and pick up the bag as part of that. Did you want to take the Fatigue right now for the Surge (won't effect you till the end of the round)?
ca_lazerdwarf Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 I'll take the fatigue, I'll remove it later if I need to.
Thevshi Posted September 22, 2014 Author Posted September 22, 2014 The big thug will pick up a piece of the concrete lid and throw it up at CL, missing with a 15. The two thugs with crowbars will take one more swing at the cops, both missing again, and then running to the van. The thug in the back of the van will open up on the two cops with his SMG, missing horribly with a 5. The guy with the blaster will shoot at CL, hitting with a 25, DC 22 toughness save. The two cops will move for cover and draw their pistols, shooting at the thug with the SMG, one hits, one misses, the thug just misses his toughness save, so is injured and bruised.
ca_lazerdwarf Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 Toughness: 1d20+5=9staggered.Going to spend hero point to reroll.1d20+5=14 For a reroll, that's 24. Save.
Thevshi Posted September 22, 2014 Author Posted September 22, 2014 Round Six 22 Coiled Lightning (bruise 2, fatigued, 0 HP) 7 Big Thug (bruise 3) 6 Thugs (2 w/ crowbar and driver of van) 6 SMG Thug (injured, bruised) 3 Slice 3 Police
ca_lazerdwarf Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 Just slumping down to stay out of sight and have a look in the bag.Search check: 1d20+1=7
ca_lazerdwarf Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 Sorry about disappearing for a while, there. Some personal issues going on and couldn't get myself in the right mindset. Should be back on track now, though.
Thevshi Posted October 8, 2014 Author Posted October 8, 2014 Hey, no worries, happens. Glad to hear things going better.
Thevshi Posted October 8, 2014 Author Posted October 8, 2014 Be sure to let me know if you think anything is off character for Jane.
ca_lazerdwarf Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 Jane seems good, doesn't like the superheros but otherwise want her to be a generally supportive girlfriend. I don't know if I really have enough to go on for searching for information, didn't hear any names and didn't get a good look at the gun..
Thevshi Posted October 14, 2014 Author Posted October 14, 2014 Just a note Lazer, the police officer behind the front desk is not one of the officers that was at the demolition sight earlier.
Thevshi Posted October 22, 2014 Author Posted October 22, 2014 Been meaning to note this for a bit, but giving you another Hero Point for having to leave to meet back up with Jane after the fight and delay heading to the police station.
Thevshi Posted October 28, 2014 Author Posted October 28, 2014 So Lazer, is there anything specifically you would want Charlie to do the next day? Any sort of proactive investigation? Or are you good with me moving things along as needed?
ca_lazerdwarf Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 I think Charlie's investigative skills are tapped out at this point. He'll just have to wait until he hears back from the police, or something else happens.
Thevshi Posted October 28, 2014 Author Posted October 28, 2014 Fair enough, I just wanted to make sure I gave you a chance to do anything you might have wanted to before moving us ahead too much. Also, now that Gankun has his PL 7 character Liquify approved, I was thinking of maybe starting a thread that had both of him and Coiled Lightning in it if you were interested.
ca_lazerdwarf Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 Yes, that could be fun. Though I imagine that there could be horrible accidents mixing water and electricity.
ca_lazerdwarf Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 Do the fire stairs have any obvious alarms, like the "Emergency Exit Only, alarm will sound" type?
