Thevshi Posted December 7, 2014 Author Posted December 7, 2014 The regular pirates are firing again, 2 at Starshot: 25 and 19, so 1 hit and a miss. DC 20 toughness save for Starshot. The other two shoot a Balus, getting a 21 and 12 so again 1 hit and a miss. Balus gets a 17, so he picks up a bruise.
Thevshi Posted December 9, 2014 Author Posted December 9, 2014 The tough pirate moves over to attack Deep Freeze’s ice wall. DC 25 toughness save for the wall: 15, punching a large hole in the wall.Round Three 28 Silver (unharmed) 16 Balus (bruised) 14 Starshot (unharmed, 1 HP) 11 regular pirates (4) 7 Deep Freeze (unharmed, 1 HP) 7 Tough Pirate (unharmed) Silver will again use defensive attack (-3 atk/+3 def) and shoot at Starshot: missing with a 12 Starshot is up!
Supercape Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 Ok, I am inclined to stunt something off the rifle, perhaps a cone of plasma: Damage 6, Extras: Cone [12 PP] Fatiguing the rifle (essentially overloading it). How does that sound? I want to get Silver in the cone but as many other thugs (and not us) as possible?
Thevshi Posted December 9, 2014 Author Posted December 9, 2014 Sure, I'll say that can catch Silver and three of the average pirates in it.
Thevshi Posted December 9, 2014 Author Posted December 9, 2014 Silver, actually misses her Reflex save with an 11. And she gets the same thing for her Toughness save, so she is dazed and staggered. The other three pirates: 5, 19, 8, one makes it. So saves (last one is vs the DC 18]: 20, 14, 17, so all three are down.
Heritage Posted December 12, 2014 Posted December 12, 2014 Cryo roll! 1d20+9=18 Bam! DC 24 Toughness save with 6 ranks of Penetrating in your face!
Thevshi Posted December 12, 2014 Author Posted December 12, 2014 The tough pirate only gets a 19 so he is bruised and dazed.Round Four 28 Silver (staggered, dazed) 16 Balus (bruised) 14 Starshot (unharmed, 1 HP) 11 regular pirates (1) 7 Deep Freeze (unharmed, 1 HP) Ice Wall (disabled) 7 Tough Pirate (bruised, dazed till top of (7)) That takes us to Starshot!
Supercape Posted December 12, 2014 Posted December 12, 2014 Not so fast! Move Action, Ill try a -5 intimidate on Silver: 1d20+4=13 not much good. Ok so as trigger is fatigued, its -2 PP from all powers, in this case the array down to 11PP. So a Snare 5 Effect. As its rather weak, ill shift that +2 DC and -2 Attack, and roll to hit: 1d20+8=24 I hope that hits Silver, if so its a DC 17 Reflex Snare effect (although its only Rank 5 toughness).
Thevshi Posted December 12, 2014 Author Posted December 12, 2014 That will hit, but Silver avoids being trapped with a 23 on her Reflex roll.
Thevshi Posted December 17, 2014 Author Posted December 17, 2014 Okay, guess I never stated this, but Deep Freeze is up!
Supercape Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 Lets go for moving all out to the Xeno - at least until the fatigue hits in!
Thevshi Posted December 28, 2014 Author Posted December 28, 2014 Well, we are not quite out of combat yet. Ana went over and tried to threaten the tough pirate, who just recovered from being dazed. He will take a parting swing at her, missing with a 15, then take off after his captain and crewmate.
Supercape Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 So I am guessing a modern cybernetic hand weighs about 5lbs/10kgs, so I am doing a silly trick just for fun. Throwing his hand ahead of him to fire up the ships engines. I make that a 100' throw, saving a few pointless seconds. Any probs with that, ill gladly edit!
