EternalPhoenix Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 An interesting question, as Online research implies some (even if nominal) time looking things up, and Well-Informed is a reaction, indicating "I happen to already know..."Because I'm nitpicky. Doesn't Gather Information work in similar fashion, only instead of getting on the internet you're talking to people?
Supercape Posted November 21, 2014 Author Posted November 21, 2014 Indeed so. However, Well informed essentially allows gather information as a reaction...no searching needed, you just know it already. I wouldn't let this question bog down the thread. Go with what feels good.
Supercape Posted December 10, 2014 Author Posted December 10, 2014 A DC 25 Know (Technology Roll) will allow you to spot specific weaknesses in the Robot Chassis, giving you Improved Crit +1 range in the future. A DC 30 Know (Technology Roll) will allow you to get the benefits of Favoured Opponent against the Robot.
Heritage Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 (edited) Crap, were people waiting on my roll here? Sorry! 1d20+4=18 Yeah, no. Also I did not realize Terrifica didn't have Knowledge: Technology; I was waiting on her to post Though I guess she does have Jack-of-All-Trades. Edited December 15, 2014 by Heritage
EternalPhoenix Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 ...my roll did not go well. So nevermind.http://orokos.com/roll/238277
Heritage Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 For the record, Casey doesn't have a costume yet; she's going the 'Batman: Year One' route of knit cap, hoodie and sweatpants. Now if Miss D still thinks she needs a better disguise, that's a different story.
Supercape Posted December 28, 2014 Author Posted December 28, 2014 Feel free to narrate any disguise you wish! (for both of you).
Supercape Posted January 2, 2015 Author Posted January 2, 2015 So you guys can make Disguise rolls, if you wish taking 10 (not enough time for taking 20). As Ms D has effectively masterwork disguise kits you get +2 to that roll, and she can also aid you (automatically succeeding given her skill) for another +2. You also get +2 for having an appropriate costume. Note that as per Disguise rules it is only when people are actively looking and studying you suspiciously that disguise checks are made - even a result of 1 will fool casual looks. (Dont worry Secret IDs will remain secret by the end of the thread unless you specifically want them not to!) Also, could you throw me notice rolls in the library. Finally the "dude" harrassing you is just a bit of light distraction (or possible complications if you wish).
Heritage Posted January 3, 2015 Posted January 3, 2015 Untrained Disguise Check w/Aid: 1d20+8=21 Notice check:1d20+3=8 Do I have any HP? Because that last one I might want to reroll!
EternalPhoenix Posted January 3, 2015 Posted January 3, 2015 I'll just take 10 on that disguise check for an 18 result.http://orokos.com/roll/242613Notice is 25.
Heritage Posted January 3, 2015 Posted January 3, 2015 Okay, as long as one of us did well on the Notice check, I will hold onto that HP; clearly Casey was thrown off by Captain Creeper!
Supercape Posted January 3, 2015 Author Posted January 3, 2015 throw me a few posts for inside if you wish (and captain creep response), ill get to notice!
Tiffany Korta Posted February 24, 2015 Posted February 24, 2015 Yup it's me I haven't forgotten . I'm catching up with what's gone before then I shall pick up the reins.
Heritage Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 At this point in time, Casey still only had a +3 Notice check; so glad I've sinced raised it up!Radio Notice check: 1d20+3=17 = meh!
Heritage Posted November 1, 2015 Posted November 1, 2015 (edited) With EP back in action, what say we revive this? I also forgot the ball was back in my court! Casey's Notice was only +3 back then and she didn't have IR yet, so let's see how she does. Extended Vision Notice check: 1d20+3=22 http://orokos.com/roll/338974 Way to go, Casey!
