Thevshi
Yeah, well, no one has been hitting much of late. Hopefully that will change soon (for the good guys). Memorial is up. I will try to post for Sovereign later. Link to comment
horngeek
Well, Memorial will turn her attention to the pirates actually attacking her... And since punching hasn't been working, let's use her Super-Strength. Memorial is switching back to her Strength enhancement, and will try to grab, grapple, and throw one of the sword-wielding guys into a wall! Possibly through a wall, but she'll try not to chuck him into space. Hit result of 17, grapple result of 27! Which might still miss. But oh well. Link to comment
Thevshi
That is just good enough to hit one of the Elite Pirates, he misses his Grapple check with a 25, so you throw him into a wall. The wall makes its toughness save, so it holds. The pirate misses his toughness save with a 12, so we will call that unconscious. Go ahead and post IC. Link to comment
Thevshi
Round Eight 24 Pirate Interceptor pilots (3) (unharmed) 24 Galvanic (bruised, 3 HP) 17 Elite Pirates (1 on flagship: bruised) 16 Average Pirates 15 Mechanized (unharmed, 2 HP) 15 Waymaker (unharmed) 12 Corona (unharmed, fatigued, 1 HP) 12 Sovereign (bruised)8 Needle Fighters (12) 7 Memorial (bruised, 1 HP) 3 Tough Pirates (1 on flagship: bruised) Okay, so new round, the Communion ships are moving in, the needle fighters in the lead. The larger Communion ships will act lower in the initiative chain for now, and are closing in slower than the fighters. Ecal, go ahead with Galv! SG, you can also post for Mechanized as well. Ecalsneerg
OK. Let's do this. Free Action: Switch to Insubstantial, and turn it on. Allocate entire Dynamic Array to Flight, giving her Flight 10. Wooosh. She is going to risk this, and not turn on her immunities this round. Keeping the Force Field up so she doesn't die to energy blasts and tries not to die in the vacuum of space. Full round: Fly out into space, and head over towards the larger ships. Link to comment
Thevshi
Okay Rav, Corona is up! Link to comment
Thevshi
Some new needle fighters launch to engage Galvanic, all three hit with 18, 23 and 23, that is 3 DC 20 Fort saves for Galv! Link to comment

Thevshi
So, Memorial is up, and the situation has changed drastically! Link to comment
horngeek
Indeed it has. Memorial will rush forwards and try and punch one of the Communion Drones through the head! 1d20+5=15 Using an HP to reroll that. 1d20+4=14, add 10 to make that 24 Link to comment
Thevshi
HG, they are minions, so let’s just go with you taking 10 the first time, so you hit and save the HP. And it gets a natural 20 on its toughness save. Eventually something is going to have to miss a toughness save. Link to comment
Thevshi
Okay, while I wait for your IC post HG, the two tough pirates Mecha and Memorial had been fighting will charge some of the Communion near them. But both miss. Link to comment
Thevshi
Round Nine 24 Pirate Interceptor pilots (5) (unharmed) 24 Galvanic (bruised, 3 HP) (entered Vacuum on round 8) 17 Elite Pirates (1 on flagship: bruised) 16 Average Pirates 15 Mechanized (unharmed, 2 HP) 15 Waymaker (unharmed) 12 Corona (unharmed, fatigued, 1 HP) 12 Sovereign (bruised)10 Antibodies (12 aboard the Aphelion) 8 Needle Fighters (7 (down to 5) near pirates and merchant, 3 inbound, 3 fighting Galvanic) 7 Memorial (bruised, 1 HP) 3 Tough Pirates Okay, Interceptors are attacking some of the Needle fighters, with good results, 4 hits and 1 miss. The needle ships have DC 25 toughness saves and 2 make it, 2 do not, so 2 are destroyed. And now Galvanic is up! Link to comment
Thevshi
While we wait for Galv in space, will move forward with stuff on the Aphelion. The elite pirate on the Aphelion moves forward to attack a Communion as well, but misses with a 10. The three average pirates not weighed down with unconscious comrades open fire on the only Communion near them not in melee, and they all misss as well. Mechanized is up on the Aphelion! souffle_girl
Mechanized takes 10 and shoots at one of the communion drones with her Force Cannon. 10+8=18 Link to comment
Thevshi
SG, that would be a miss, so go ahead and make an attack roll instead. Link to comment
Thevshi
Hmm, if you want, you can use Accurate Attack (everyone can do that up to -2 atk/+2 damage without the feat) to drop a point of damage and pick up a point of attack, then you can hit by taking 10 (I should have mentioned this the first time as another option). souffle_girl
OK then. It makes sense. But I'm going to get rid of that void suit malus as soon as possible... It's a DC19 check, then? Edited December 2, 2014 by souffle_girl Link to comment
Thevshi
It is a DC 24 toughness save for the Communion, and....it makes it. Sigh, they have to start missing them eventually! Link to comment
Thevshi
Okay, while we wait for Ecal to post with Galv, might as well cover other actions. Rav, go ahead and post an action for Corona. Link to comment
Raveled
Is there one Communion ship in the lead, or otherwise some kind if flagship? And how many Move actions for the shuttle to get to the approaching fleet? Link to comment
Thevshi
One of the Communion ships is slightly ahead of the other, but otherwise they seem the same. It will be a move action for Corona to enter the Nomad and another move action to pilot it over to the larger Communion ships. Link to comment
Raveled
... Do any of them have big, open windows over the bridge she could smash through? Link to comment
