But If it is in fact active and meant for this encounter instead, wouldn't that mean the bluff check was successful due to the +2? Anywhoo. A bit late to worry about that and would be my fault anyways I never clarified after all! Sooo, rolling with it and just attacking the other remaining guard with bonus in mind. And with that, Ruby gets a attack roll of 26 She has a reasonable chance of scoring a hit. DC 18 Reflex Check from Zaul or suffer the effects of Snare. BTW, Ruby has 1 Hero Point. I used one up earlier from a reroll.
