Well, there's nothing stopping her from using her ranged powers up close but given the descriptors I think I'll say she's stuck using her +8 melee attack bonus rather than the +10 for ranged attack and throw her an HP for her trouble!

 

Rob, you rolled a d10 for the HP reroll for some reason. You want to still roll 1d20+10, just as you did the first time, because rolling a natural 20 still has potential relevance.

Well, with anitbodies surrounding her there's not really enough room to use her bow properly, but she could still jab one of them with an arrow as a melee attack, yeah. Alternatively you could make an acrobatics check to disengage with them and move far enough away to use her bow normally but the engine room is pretty confining regardless.

Makes sense. Does quick draw 2 give her enough to stow her bow and pull her knife? (More of a small sword really) Because she IS equipped for melee combat, she just isn't as good at it.

Actually, since these are minions (and they've got a Defense penalty from charging), she could just take 10 and still hit! Save the HP.

And, as a minion, that takes it out of the fight!

Yeah, destroying the antibodies is a mercy as much as anything.

Meanwhile, that ends up being a 22 for Kharag, so he's staggered and dazed but not unconscious! He's still got one HP left, so I'll leave it to you if you want to clear the daze or save it and pass the turn, Rob.

Spending a HP to shrug off the daze.

 

Switching the Alien Martial Art array to Alternate Power: Impervious Toughness 10 [10 PP] + Strike 6 (Power Feats: Improved Critical, Mighty). Just in case.

 

Taking 10 to hit the antibody that is in melee range.

DC 25 to resist.

Well, that was a DC25 Damage effect with a Fortitude Alt Save. Failing by 13 would mean she's staggered and dazed. Not great news when she's still surrounded by four antibodies!

Okay, right now looking to to the following:

1. Spend an HP to shake of the effect of Daze.

2. Use Extra Effort to stunt Blast 9 (Extras: Burst Area 2, Penetrating 6, PF: Selective).

Is that doable?

Edit: Burst is centered on Ana, blasting outward.

Alright, she's got a 28PP Array and these things don't have an Impervious but Selective is an Extra on attacks, not a Power Feat so what you want is something like:

Damage 9 (Extras: Area [General, Burst], Selective) [27PP]
...which is certainly doable

Five out of six, not bad! That leaves one Antibody still attacking Sei and four more in the cargo bay, attacking the refugees.

Okay, so thinking Paradigm is up (or at least want to get things started for her). She will fly into the hole she created. What she does inside depends on what she finds. If there are any antibodies, she will deal with them first, lining up to catch as many as she can with a shockwave (and do as much internal damage as she can with that). If the area just inside is otherwise empty of antibodies, she will set about ripping out the large guns they have put into place here.
