thelazyblank
Now what? Should I just keep posting various stages of this planning until I get bored and want to run the actual robbery? Do other people tend to join in if/when they want to, or should I be asking other people if they want in? Not that I necessarily want hero attention in the first heist, but I guess I just want to see how things are supposed to go here. Link to comment
Barnum
I doubt that someone would find your thread and decide to jump in. This thread is the best way to recruit someone for your story. In fact, I'd probably change the thread title to reflect the fact that you are looking for a hero to lock horns with. Also, if there is a hero or villain you want to play with, sending them a PM would be a good idea too. Link to comment
thelazyblank
Hmm. Well, I'm not really looking for a hero right now. I was mostly curious about how to go about it, should I want to later on. And making sure I'm not being rude or not following rules by simply PMing specific people about certain ideas/etc. Link to comment
Barnum
Nope. PMing is fine, as is asking in the chat, or just posting a thread in this forum for recruiting. I've done all three, I think. Link to comment
Heritage
If your looking for help on a robbery, I have a character looking to get in with the criminal element; Lenny the Lifter (aka Grim) is looking for work out on the Arena right now, though they could meet up somewhere else if you prefer and you'll 'em. thelazyblank
Well, Capricia wouldn't exactly do strong background checks or anything, so she could be willing to hire someone like that. Hmm, well, if you want to talk details, she could tell him to meet her outside on the boardwalk, unless he's not really known without a mask on, then probably in the casino. Basically, PM me if you wanna talk about details, or just keep them here. :) Link to comment

Lenny is new in town, and has been basically casing around looking for work (i.e lots of off-screen Streetwise and Gather Information checks) and it sounds like he could easily hear about Cap looking for muscle/help. Lenny has no true secret ID (unless you count Grim!), so he could just walk into the casino and take a meeting, as it were. We could just start a thread with their first meeting, I guess, and go from there, or else start the PM thing. Link to comment
