trollthumper Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 Cannonade, Blue Jay, and Revenant go on a rescue mission, deal with a strange-ass warrior cult.
Raveled Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 Are they all getting there by plane? Because I wasn't joking about going the B.A. Baracus route for Blue Jay.
trollthumper Posted December 4, 2014 Author Posted December 4, 2014 Plane, it appears. If Blue Jay would prefer an alternative route, then AEGIS can arrange it.
trollthumper Posted January 19, 2015 Author Posted January 19, 2015 All right, Notice and Survival checks for all.Cannonade gets a 30 on his Notice check.
Raveled Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 Survival Check: 1d20+20 36Notice has Skill Mastery so 25 on that.
trollthumper Posted January 27, 2015 Author Posted January 27, 2015 Sorry for the delay. Blue Jay is not only able to follow the trail into the depths of the forest, she's able to pick up on the footprints left by the agents. Said footprints are somewhat wiped over, as if the agents - or someone else - were trying to erase their steps.Blue Jay also picks up that, not only is this place fairly quiet, it looks unperturbed. Not only is there little animal, insect, or bird noise, but the plants have this sort of waxy sheen and look like nothing's been eating their leaves, bark, or berries.
Raveled Posted February 9, 2015 Posted February 9, 2015 For posterity, is the island close enough to forests to count for Jay's Favored Environment?
trollthumper Posted March 25, 2015 Author Posted March 25, 2015 All right, we're fighting! The pale guy is a at PL12. Cannonade goes on 6. The Hopping Vampire goes on 22.
Tiffany Korta Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 Revenants Initiative: 1d20+6 25, wow she must have been expecting trouble!
Raveled Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 Initiative: 1d20+15 26 This is what preparation gets you!
Raveled Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 Jay's going to start off with a Glue Arrow against this guy. He's not an AEGIS agent, but maybe he can tell us where they are! Ranged Attack, vs Hopping Vampire: 1d20+15 27
trollthumper Posted April 1, 2015 Author Posted April 1, 2015 And the Vampire manages to dodge the snare. Blue Jay: 26, Unharmed, 2 HP Revenant: 25, Unharmed, 1 HP Vampire: 22, Unharmed, 0 HP Cannonade: 6, Unharmed, 3 HP Revenant is up next.
Tiffany Korta Posted April 5, 2015 Posted April 5, 2015 Lucy will use something handy, like a fallen tree Attack Roll: 1d20+10 14, I'm guessing that's a miss.
trollthumper Posted April 10, 2015 Author Posted April 10, 2015 Yup. Vampire's turn. He manages to leap the distance to Blue Jay as a move action, then delivers a Paralyze attack. Which... oof. DC27 Will save for Blue Jay. Cannonade, meanwhile, manages to catch up with the vampire and takes a mighty swing. Which, hey, that hits. DC26 TOU save for the vampire. Which... it makes. Blue Jay is up next.
Raveled Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Will Save: 1d20+7 17 Whelp. Let's reroll that, shall we? Will save, reroll: 1d20+7 26 Literally, one point below what would have saved her.
trollthumper Posted April 11, 2015 Author Posted April 11, 2015 Well, she is just Slowed, not Paralyzed, with that save. So, she can still act, even though it's limited to move or standard action per round, not both. Also, she takes a -1 to Attack rolls, Defense, and Reflex saves. Blue Jay: 26, Unharmed, Slowed, 1 HP Revenant: 25, Unharmed, 1 HP Vampire: 22, Unharmed, 0 HP Cannonade: 6, Unharmed, 3 HP And Blue Jay is still up.
Raveled Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 Okay, Blue Jay is putting her Favored Terrain bonus to Def, so she is still at Def 20 despite being slowed. She's going to take a few swings at this thing in hand-to-hand. Melee Attack: 1d20+14 21 If that hits, DC 20 Toughness save.
Tiffany Korta Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 I'll shall try again to hit the Hopping Vampire with me improvised tree based weapon Attack Roll: 1d20+12 29
trollthumper Posted April 28, 2015 Author Posted April 28, 2015 That will most certainly hit. And the Hopping Vampire makes the DC27 TOU save. The Vampire goes next. He turns towards Revenant and unleashes Blast 12. Fortunately, it's just outside the Improved Critical 2 range, but that's still a DC27 TOU save. Cannonade, meanwhile, leaps towards the Vampire and delivers a punch. Which, of course, misses.Top of the round. Blue Jay is up next.
Raveled Posted May 5, 2015 Posted May 5, 2015 Okay, we can't hurt this thing. So Blue Jay's going to use an acid arrow to try and bring down its Toughness.http://orokos.com/roll/284235Ugh. Going to reroll that one.http://orokos.com/roll/284237THAT'S more goddamn like it! So DC 20 Fort save from this thing to avoid getting acid'ed.
trollthumper Posted May 8, 2015 Author Posted May 8, 2015 Reposting the build again. And that hits!Blue Jay: 26, Unharmed, Slowed, 0 HPRevenant: 25, Unharmed, 1 HPVampire: 22, Unharmed, -5 TOU, 0 HPCannonade: 6, Unharmed, 3 HPRevenant is up next.
Tiffany Korta Posted May 11, 2015 Posted May 11, 2015 Revennat shall continue with her improvised weapon Attack Roll: 1d20+12 17.
