Vahnyu Posted February 27, 2015 Posted February 27, 2015 After discussion in the chat: Full-Round Action: Hronos will Ready Time Stopper as a Full-Round Action. The trigger will be the arrival of the 21 new Jackals, and the targets for the action will be all the Compu-Jackals in the area. DC20 Reflex Save vs Stun Area Attack. If Hronos uses the attack, he becomes Distracted.
Gizmo Posted February 27, 2015 Author Posted February 27, 2015 Geez: The whole area is pretty uniform at this point apart from the mound, so I'll assume she attacks the mound! Also, she passes the Fortitude Save and her Impervious makes the Toughness Save unnecessary. Computronium MoundToughness Save vs DC 31: 1d20+14 19 Yowza! That means the mound is disabled! In context I'm going to say that she's cracked it open and the unconverted portions of the bomb are now visible, ie. chunks of metal immune to the nanites. Decentralized processing means that it's still spitting up more compu-jackals this turn, however, and that means Hronos' attack triggers! Vahnyu Posted February 27, 2015 Posted February 27, 2015 Can't beat Concentration 25 with just a +4 from Wisdom. Toughness save vs DC30 1d20+8 → [9,8] = (17) failed by 13

Avenger Assembled Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 Oh hey, so no Aid actions at all? Thanks, guys. =P Here's a 25 on my Computers check. Sure hope that sticks!
Gizmo Posted March 6, 2015 Author Posted March 6, 2015 Computronium MoundOpposed Computers Check: 1d20+12 16 The mound's programming is 'pinned' again, meaning it cannot create new drones this round! EternalPhoenix Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 http://orokos.com/roll/262755Reflex save time. 10. Orokos has turned against me.http://orokos.com/roll/262756Fort save 17. Perhaps I spoke too soon?http://orokos.com/roll/262757Bruise accounted for, so 10....Oh, come on. I'm just not allowed to have hero points, am I?http://orokos.com/roll/26275814 is better, as it'd be 24.
EternalPhoenix Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 Okay, going to move next to that nanite immune metal and examine it. Here are three Knowledge checks. Because I have no idea which one would be best.http://orokos.com/roll/262762Physical Sciences gets a 29.http://orokos.com/roll/262763Technology gets a 34.http://orokos.com/roll/262764Cosmology, only 24.
Gizmo Posted March 11, 2015 Author Posted March 11, 2015 TerrificaThe metal that's been unearthed is completely untouched by the nanobots, although having gone through the heat of entry into Earth's atmosphere and then colliding with the ground it's scorched and twisted beyond the point where Sam could identify any specific components. It's effectively scrap metal at this point, dark onyx coloured chunks of the stuff. Given how well it's held together she can infer that the material - almost certainly an artificial alloy - is extremely heat resistant and durable, beyond any Terrestrial alloys she can think of off hand, at least at an equivalent thickness. None of the reports she's seen on recovered Grue technology or the sparse information on metals used by the Lor or Farsiders matches up with those qualities in combination with that appearance. With a small gad between the metal and the computronium a piece could probably be yanked free with sufficient (ie. superhuman) strength.
Gizmo Posted March 18, 2015 Author Posted March 18, 2015 Maxima is up. Let's see if we can't pick up the pace here and get to the climax! 26 - Asad - Uninjured, 3HP 24 - Citizen - Injured x2, 0HP 19 - Terrifica - Bruised x1, 1HP > 17 - Maxima - Uninjured, Pending Fatigue, 2HP 14 - Hronos - Disabled, Dazed, Distracted, 0HP 8 - Compu-Jackals with Wings and Penetrating Claws x2 - Uninjured
Geez3r Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 First off going to use a HP to get rid of that nasty fatigue. Next, rolls for Computronium exposure Fort save vs Computronium, Round 2: 1d20+13 32 That would be a pass, and Impervious will ignore the Toughness bit of it. Then she's going to yank out that hunk of space metal from the computronium, or at least try, if successful she'll plunk it down near Terrifica for her to science! Failing that, smash any computronium that is impeding the progress of removing the space metal. And if Maxima has time to "attack" the mound, she'll do that. And so you don't have to dig for stats, +16 Strength bonus, lifting capacity of 72.
Gizmo Posted March 19, 2015 Author Posted March 19, 2015 That's more than enough to tear free the remaining metal, definitely. Go for it! Hronos is dazed and out of HP, so he'll be passing his turn. Did you still want to get an IC post in for that, Vahn? You're welcome to! 26 - Asad - Uninjured, 3HP 24 - Citizen - Injured x2, 0HP 19 - Terrifica - Bruised x1, 1HP 17 - Maxima - Uninjured, 1HP> 14 - Hronos - Disabled, Dazed, 0HP 8 - Compu-Jackals with Wings and Penetrating Claws x2 - Uninjured
Gizmo Posted March 21, 2015 Author Posted March 21, 2015 Compu-JackalsCombined Attack vs Citizen: 2#1d20+5 25 16 Absurdist, should I assume Asad is still Interposing for Citizen? 26 - Asad - Uninjured, 3HP 24 - Citizen - Injured x2, 0HP 19 - Terrifica - Bruised x1, 1HP 17 - Maxima - Uninjured, 1HP 14 - Hronos - Disabled, 0HP> 8 - Compu-Jackals with Wings and Penetrating Claws x2 - Uninjured
Avenger Assembled Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 He'd better, or Miss A will take the cost of the robot body out of his beard
Gizmo Posted March 25, 2015 Author Posted March 25, 2015 Alright, do not care to wait any longer so I'll assume Asad is indeed interposing, requiring a DC 22 Toughness Save from him. If we don't hear from you by tomorrow, Absurdist, we'll just be moving onto Citizen's turn. > 26 - Asad - Uninjured, 3HP, Pending Toughness Save 24 - Citizen - Injured x2, 0HP 19 - Terrifica - Bruised x1, 1HP 17 - Maxima - Uninjured, 1HP 14 - Hronos - Disabled, 0HP 8 - Compu-Jackals with Wings and Penetrating Claws x2 - Uninjured

Gizmo Posted March 28, 2015 Author Posted March 28, 2015 Computronium MoundOpposed Computers Check: 1d20+12 30 Close but no dice! The nanobots' program is deleted and they shut down. We are out of rounds.
Vahnyu Posted March 29, 2015 Posted March 29, 2015 Hronos may be disabled, but he'll take this time to heal himself using his Healing power Time Reset. 4 Ranks with Regrowth, Total, and Stabilize. Healing 4 vs DC10. (1d20+4=17) Also, everyone in 500ft gets a healing check.
