KnightDisciple
Toughness DC 25: 22. I'll take the bruise. Link to comment
Fox
Hrrm. Is there a group left that Tiamat could reasonably get to in an all-out move or two (normal move speed, as I'm assuming she can't exactly go dragon!). Failing that, who among the invaders would we say is closest to GK on the command center monitors? Link to comment
Thevshi
Yeah, there is not going to be room for her to maneuver in dragon form. Hmm... I think I said Fleur was heading toward Group 7, and will get there next round. I will say group 9 is within two full moves of Tiamat, and Gaian can get there in a single move action his next turn. Thevshi
Okay AA, Frost is up! Link to comment
Avenger Assembled
What groups can Frost reach with his Flight speed? (Flight 1) Link to comment
Thevshi
He could get to Group 7 (where Fleur is headed); Group 9 (where Gaian and Tiamat are headed) or Group 1 (the group Gabriel is currently fighting) in one move action with his insubstantial 2. Link to comment
Avenger Assembled
He will head for Group 9 - what a great way to get Tiamat to like him! He'll go ahead and use his Drain Toughness attack since he's acting as support here. http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/4788981/= 26! Hmm - should maybe get him some Takedown Attack! Anyway, that's a DC 22 Reflex save vs. a Toughness drain, losing a maximum of 12. Link to comment
Thevshi
AA, isn't that toughness drain limited to objects only? Link to comment
Avenger Assembled
Are the antibodies not objects? If they are not objects, he'll just use his Vampiric Damage for a DC 27 Toughness save. Link to comment
Thevshi
Nope, we have not been playing them as objects. TT put together a sheet we have been using. Most are PL 10 minions, so you either need an attack roll, or drop a bit of damage for accurate attack and Take 10. Link to comment
Avenger Assembled
Okay, my attack roll is 26, for a DC 27 Toughness save. Link to comment
Thevshi
The antibody fails its toughness save so is destroyed. Link to comment
Thevshi
Okay near Gabriel the autogun shots another energy blast at an antibody, hitting with a 27. The antibody gets a 21 on its toughness save and is destroyed. Near Comrade Frost/Group 9, one of the net guns is still functional, but misses one of the antibodies. So, we are on Round Three 52 Velocity (unharmed, 3 HP) 26 Boarding party 6 (fighting Velocity, 1 minion left, heroic one has 1 bruise) 25 Fleur de Joie (unharmed, 3 HP) 24 Boarding party 7 (Fleur to be engaging) 19 Gaian Knight (unharmed, 3 HP) 19 Boarding party 4 19 Boarding party 1017 Boarding party 1316 Boarding party 12 (near Velocity)15 Boarding party 11 (hanger) 14 Gabriel (bruised, fatigued, 3 HP) 10 Boarding party 1 (fighting Gabriel, 5 left) 10 Boarding party 9 (Gaian/Tiamat to be engaging, Comrade Frost there, 6 left) 8 Boarding party 2 7 Tiamat (unharmed) 3 Comrade Frost (unharmed, 1 HP) (KD, you never said Gabe was going to remove the fatigue for surging last round, but can do so on your turn of course). Thevshi
Velocity will again use her selective area attack on the now ten antibodies in her area. (Power Attack -3 atk/+3 dam, Def Attack -2 ak/+2 def): she hits with a 30, DC 28 toughness saves. The Antibodies get (last two rolls are heroic ones): 15, 26, 18, 26, 26, 19, 25, 12, 12, 29, so all the minions are down, one of the heroic antibodies made its toughness save, and I will say the one that rolled 12 was the one she already bruised, so that is actually an 11, either way it misses its save by more than 15 and is down as well. So, only 1 heroic antibody left facing her. Fleur is up! Link to comment
Electra
Fleur will use her move action to get to the bad guys! She will use her standard action to snare the heck out of these guys (hopefully)! That's an area effect Snare 15, so I believe that is a DC 25 Reflex to avoid. Link to comment
Thevshi
Okay, this group has spread out, so she can only catch about half of them. Those four all miss their attempt to avoid the area effect. On the saves vs the snare effect, one manages to escape the effect, the other three are bound and helpless. Link to comment
Electra
Surging (canceling fatigue with an HP) and doing a second round of snares, using her Shapeable as much as possible to catch the largest number of antibodies Link to comment
Thevshi
Second half: all miss their saves to dodge the area, and all of them are bound and helpless. So only the one remains free. Link to comment
Thevshi
So the free antibody will charge Fleur, power attacking (-4 atk/+4 dam) hitting with a 23, so a DC 29 toughness save for Fleur. Link to comment
Thevshi
Okay, Fox, Gaian is up! While I wait, I will take the last antibody facing Velocity slightly out of turn, it chargers her, missing badly with a 14 Link to comment
Fox
Welp, if there's a new group in the hanger GK may have to take care of that before moving on. Poor Tiamat's in for a surprise when she catches up with the hero fighting group 9.GK'll try to thin them out with an area attack, then. Same as before - as many enemies as he can fit in 65 5' cubes. DC23 reflex, DC28 Toughness vs. damage. Link to comment
Thevshi
Okay, they are spread out, but that is still a very large area, so I’ll say it has a chance at catching them all. Reflex saves: two manage to dodge the blasts thank to Evasion. Toughness saves for the other six (last one is the heroic one): only the heroic one makes it, so five go down, two dodge and one just takes the hit. Link to comment
Thevshi
So, I will say the heroic one and one of the others are able to get to you this round. Both attack (heroic is second roll): 30 and 27!. Luckily that natural 20 is a minion. So two DC 25 toughness saves for Gaian! Link to comment
Fox
Toughness Save vs. Antibodies, DC25 (1d20 + 16=34, 1d20 + 16=25)Oogh, just barely on that last one. Huzzah for toughness-shifting. Link to comment
