caelcormac
Ok, so if I read the house rule correctly I can power Attack for +2/-2 without the feat, so that is what I am doing. I'm dropping the shovel after the attack so my hands are free to grab a tombstone next round. I don't expect it to do more damage, just stand up to at least a little more punishment. Anyway, dice:Stab a thing with a shovel, power Attack style: 1d20+8 20 Link to comment
Supercape
An easy hit, meaning a DC 27 Toughness Save: 1d20+12=23 A fair roll, but a -1 Penalth for injury makes that a 22: So it is Dazed and Injured! Post Away! Link to comment
Supercape
The blob is dazed, meaning.... Round 2: 19 - Ulysses, Unharmed, Fatigued, 2 HP 14 - Jason, Unharmed, 1 HP 10 - Officer Groats, Unharmed 7 - Green Blob, Injured x2, Bruised x2 Ulysses is up And the secondary effect kicks in: Another DC 25 Toughness : 1d20+12=32 inconceivable! Exaccus
i think ill spend a HP to recover from the fatigue then and use my shovel on it! 1d20+8=11 hmm not doing well today at all. Link to comment
Supercape
If thats hitting the main body (you would need a move action to do so) it actually hits! For reference its defence is -2 (from size). Limbs are smaller, so +2. 1d20+10=20 is its save, so dazed and bruised (x3), injured (x3) Ulysess down to 1HP, unfatigued Post away! Jason S is up! caelcormac
Oh hey, it's my turn, when did that happen. Jason is going to drop the shovel and grab hisself a big slab of stone, and then it's right back in with a sturdier weapon, power attacking for +2/-2 again. What would you like on your tombstone?: 1d20+8 17 Link to comment
Supercape
Which is an extremely cool hit! And, appropriately: 1d20+12=14 is its base roll, -2 for being bruised/injured (as its a blob, I suggest we go for "kill" unless you dont wish so!) is -10. The DC is 27 for the power attack, and the stone is heavy enough you would actually get a +2 fro improvised weapon, a DC of 29, which is a fail by 19, more than enough to either knock it out, or kill it (Splat) - the latter might be more convenient, but your call... Post away! And we are out of combat! Link to comment
caelcormac
Yikes, it's been a few days, sorry about that. I'll try and get something up today. Ok, got something up! Edited January 27, 2015 by caelcormac Link to comment
