Thevshi Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 The OOC for >this So, to keep us moving forward, it looks like the PCs are dividing up as follows: Main assault team: Paradigm, Kharag, Draganoid. Stealth team: Traveller, Moon Moth That sound right? (for the moment I am leaving Elite off, as Blue is not able to post regularly, if she can, then Elite can join in wherever Blue wants her to be).
Thevshi Posted February 27, 2015 Author Posted February 27, 2015 Okay, getting us rolling. Lets start making some initiative rolls, although we are not quite going to need them just yet. Tiff, Ex, you two can handle flying the shuttle around the long way to come in low along the surface.

Thevshi Posted March 4, 2015 Author Posted March 4, 2015 19 Dragonid (unharmed, 1 HP) 19 Kharag (unharmed, 2 HP)17 Paradigm (unharmed, 2 HP) 11 Moon Moth (unharmed, 3 HP)2 Average pirates Tiff, still need a initiative roll for Traveller. Could also use a post for her and Moon Moth as they fly in low to the surface from "behind."
Thevshi Posted March 4, 2015 Author Posted March 4, 2015 Thanks Tiff. Ex, you might have missed how I set things up earlier, Moon Moth and Taveller (along with a few NPC new Praetorians) all left in the shuttle before the Aquilla entered the atmosphere and the others flew out to take on the pirates head on. By the time the direct assault is taking place, the rest of you would already be down near the planet's surface and heading towards the pirate base, having entered the atmosphere on the far side in order to avoid detection.
Exaccus Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 (edited) ah bother, ill have a edit up shortly. Edit Made. Edited March 4, 2015 by Exaccus
Thevshi Posted March 17, 2015 Author Posted March 17, 2015 Okay, here is our initiative order: Round One 19 Dragonid (unharmed, 1 HP) 19 Kharag (unharmed, 2 HP) 17 Paradigm (unharmed, 2 HP) 13 Traveller (unharmed, 1 HP) 11 Moon Moth (unharmed, 3 HP) 2 Average pirates Lazer, Dragonid is up! I looked at Kharag's weight, and he is a heavy load for Dragonid, so you are at a max dodge bonus of +1, -6 on all actions and can only move at 2/3 normal speed while carrying Kharag.
ca_lazerdwarf Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 How long is it going to take to get to the surface? Is he going to be stuck in the air for a few rounds before he can drop off his passenger?
Thevshi Posted March 17, 2015 Author Posted March 17, 2015 Well, you can move all out for about 10,000 feet in a round (a full round action), which is half your normal all out move action. At that speed, I will say you will reach the ground during the next turn. Otherwise it will take awhile. One other benefit from using all out movement is you gain a bonus to your defense to help replace some of the defense lost based on being encumbered.
ca_lazerdwarf Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 Ok, then I'll all out move to the ground and try to land near the entrance, taking some cover from the heavy weapons if possible. I can work on being a bigger distraction once I'm not weighed down.
Thevshi Posted March 17, 2015 Author Posted March 17, 2015 Right now there only direction to go is down. I will say at the end of the round you will still be about 2,000 feet in the air, so you should be able to reach ground in the next turn with a move action.
Exaccus Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 He'll teleport out of the shuttle and into nearby cover, then make a Notice check to see if anything seems dangerous 1d20+10=24,
Thevshi Posted March 27, 2015 Author Posted March 27, 2015 Okay, Moon does not spot any threats in the immediate area. Everything seems quiet and no sign that the pirates are aware you’re here. Up on the plateau above, Seresk moves toward one of the heavy weapon emplacements, whipping his large spiked tail around at it: hitting with a 26. The weapon only gets a 14 on its toughness save, and is destroyed. Two of the heavy weapons on the other plateau take aim at Paradigm: both missing. Another heavy gun fires at Seresk, hitting with a 21. Seresk easily makes his toughness save with a 32. Numerous other pirates open fire with hand held blasters, but even those that hit cannot penetrate the Impervious protection of the two Praetorians on the ground. So, we are on to: Round Two 19 Dragonid (unharmed, 1 HP) 19 Kharag (unharmed, 2 HP) 17 Paradigm (unharmed, 2 HP)16 Energy Controller (unharmed) 13 Traveller (unharmed, 1 HP) 11 Moon Moth (unharmed, 3 HP)10 Lightning Controller (unharmed)8 Telekinetic (unharmed)7 Seresk (unharmed) 2 Average pirates Dragonid is up!

ca_lazerdwarf Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 Going to drop to a plateau, let Kharag down and spit a burst of fire at a weapon emplacement. Fire Breath: Attack Roll: 1d20+8 18 DC27
Thevshi Posted March 27, 2015 Author Posted March 27, 2015 Which side do you want to go to, right or left? (Seresk is on the right, Paradigm on the left). Whichever side, that is a hit and weapon gets a 20 on its toughness save, meaning it is still operational, but damaged.
ca_lazerdwarf Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 We'll drop in with Paradigm, since Seresk has already taken care of one of his.
