Raveled Posted April 17, 2015 Author Posted April 17, 2015 Folks can make Know/Streetwise or Know/History checks to learn things about Samantha Cline.
KnightDisciple Posted April 17, 2015 Posted April 17, 2015 Could I burn a Hero Point to gain Contacts long enough to justify just calling Raven and asking her about who Samantha Cline is? (FYI will be spotty on posting ability over the weekend.)
Raveled Posted April 17, 2015 Author Posted April 17, 2015 (edited) Sure, I'll allow that.Samantha Cline, aka Luna Moth, was a wealth and beauty-obsessed supercriminal contemporary to the first Raven. She had a suite of machines that let her fly, emit mind-controlling pheromones, and shoot sticky webs to slow people down. Samantha was eventually captured and incarcerated in a mental institution. A few years back, she was smuggled out of the facility to act as a test subject for a power-granting device. It rejuvenated her and mutated her, making her into a woman-bug hybrid with many of her old powers. Raven II hasn't taken the time to track Luna Moth down, but going by her old MO it seems likely that she ensnared someone with money and is milking him dry for adoration, as much as for cash. The Sailor Posted April 17, 2015 Posted April 17, 2015 (edited) No clue with Endeavor. But someone will fill me in, right? Edited April 17, 2015 by The Osprey
Heritage Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 What would Casey have to roll to recognize that name? Not sure if she has the skills for it.
Raveled Posted April 19, 2015 Author Posted April 19, 2015 Anyone can roll those skills if they want to.
The Sailor Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 What I got for a check...Intelligence Check: 1d20+6 26Does this change my post?
Raveled Posted April 19, 2015 Author Posted April 19, 2015 Samantha Cline was one of Raven I's rogues, a femme fatale with pheromone and flying powers.
KnightDisciple Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 Sorry for delays. The new format, especially on mobile, makes it hard to track things. I will try to get a response up today.
Heritage Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 You can set your preferences so that you automatically follow any thread you post in; I'd recommend doing that.
KnightDisciple Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 You can set your preferences so that you automatically follow any thread you post in; I'd recommend doing that.Good to know. But the Followed Threads page is a mess for me typically, as if there is no rhyme or reason to the order of the threads (instead of "thread with the most recent new post at the top").
Raveled Posted April 29, 2015 Author Posted April 29, 2015 Is everyone okay with fast-forwarding to the house?
KnightDisciple Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 Is everyone okay with fast-forwarding to the house?Fine by me. Brigandine can flirt via flashback or whatnot if she likes.
The Sailor Posted May 1, 2015 Posted May 1, 2015 Rav, I said I would be following you two. I wager Heri was on the same page with that.
Raveled Posted May 5, 2015 Author Posted May 5, 2015 KD, do you want to make another post about Nevermore going into the building, or should we just cut to him vs. Luna Moth?
KnightDisciple Posted May 5, 2015 Posted May 5, 2015 Are there any real guards or security measures? If so, then yes. If not, feel free to narrate how he slips in all stealthy and then is just kind of standing there in the same room as Luna Moth, because Batman.
Raveled Posted May 5, 2015 Author Posted May 5, 2015 Real from our perspective or real from Batman's perspective?Roll me Notice if you want to know about the guards.
KnightDisciple Posted May 5, 2015 Posted May 5, 2015 As in "more than a couple of mind whammied prep teens and their overweight suit wearing father". Anyway:http://orokos.com/roll/284403That is a 27 notice.
Heritage Posted May 5, 2015 Posted May 5, 2015 (edited) Notice check for Miracle Girl: 1d20+7=10 Whoopty-frickin'-doo. Edited May 5, 2015 by Heritage
The Sailor Posted May 5, 2015 Posted May 5, 2015 Notice Check (+10): 1d20+10 20 - Not needing glasses any time soon. ^_^
Raveled Posted May 5, 2015 Author Posted May 5, 2015 Miracle GirlThere's a fence! It's wrought iron, and you should probably try to not run into it.EndeavorThere's a fair few guys in black turtlenecks and slacks prowling around. They look more or less like standard rent-a-thugs, and you can see that a few of them have pistols. They're mostly grouped in the front of the property; you can't see more than two or three in the back.NevermoreIn addition to the guys with guns, you can spot a number of security cameras. They're fairly big and unsubtle, and their line of sight seems to mostly cover the front approach.
KnightDisciple Posted May 6, 2015 Posted May 6, 2015 Yeah I would be up for a post of the sneaky sneak. I can make rolls if you want. And if I fail I have an idea of how to play it off.
Raveled Posted May 6, 2015 Author Posted May 6, 2015 *Checks* Hm, Nevermore doesn't have that much Stealth after all! Go ahead and roll for it.
