Mad Scientist Posted May 7, 2015 Posted May 7, 2015 Just giving Heri a chance to post -- with MG's Quickness and Flight speed, there's no reason for her to be left behind for any length of time. :P
The Sailor Posted May 7, 2015 Posted May 7, 2015 (edited) Yah. That and we'll have to move fast once we're all kitted out. Sad thing about teenage heroes, we tend to need a few minutes. >_< Edited May 7, 2015 by Osprey
The Sailor Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 I'll be posting tomorrow when I get on, or tonight if I can get on.
Mad Scientist Posted May 13, 2015 Posted May 13, 2015 Now now, Casey -- you're going to make Saku jealous if you go and start strapping other girls to your chest.
Hestina Posted May 17, 2015 Author Posted May 17, 2015 O.o:) Moving things forward! Rescue ho! From here forward, let's make sure that we don't move things faster than each member can post.
The Sailor Posted May 17, 2015 Posted May 17, 2015 ok initial assessment made. Got the first raft in the water.
The Sailor Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 Okay, I'll make my move once Heritage posts. I'm thinking I can wrench the door open for the bridge and go in. Also note if the ship's 30 miles out we're still on the continental shelf which is shallower than the Atlantic Ocean proper. But won't matter much for the crew in the engine room.
The Sailor Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 Okay, I have a strength of 40 when I use the Magnetic Manipulation mode on my EM Wand. I'm sure I can tear off the door to the bridge from the outside. Also that should give me direct access to the bridge and the ship itself, and allow the captain and whoever is with them on the bridge to get out. From your description they were fighting with the door leading outside, that shouldn't be a problem with pressure (as there isn't any water on my side of the door) and more they're panicking with the cold water rushing in from behind them.If it IS the internal air pressure of the bridge pushing it closed inside, my pull should make that door pop like a cork.Either or, the bridge will be open to the outside.
The Sailor Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 I'll be making a post to respond to Cerulean tomorrow. Posting is hard here today.

Mad Scientist Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 Therein lies the question -- what would it take to re-weld steel? Blasts are designed around doing damage, so what needs to be stunted to pull that trick off? :)
The Sailor Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 (edited) Bad idea. We need to evacuate the ship. It's a loss and it's taken enough water as is. It's internal structure is pretty much a sneeze away from dismantling itself wasting time trying to re-weld the gash in that ship will only worsen matters. We need to focus on getting people off the ship. Also I'm still waiting on what happens when I get that door open to the bridge. Edited May 27, 2015 by Endeavor
The Sailor Posted June 10, 2015 Posted June 10, 2015 (edited) I'm thinking this thread is dead. I've tried contacting Hestina, and I've received no response. They've not even read the message.Addendum: The message was sent on the 26th, and it's been three weeks since Hestina's even been online. Edited June 10, 2015 by Endeavor
Mad Scientist Posted June 10, 2015 Posted June 10, 2015 Same here -- made contact attempts, nothing. I think we lost her.
