Raveled Posted May 29, 2015 Posted May 29, 2015 Is there enough cover on the roof for Jay to Hide in Plain Sight?
Raveled Posted May 30, 2015 Posted May 30, 2015 Jay's going to keep up this attack, and then fade into the shadows! 1d20+15: 23 [1d20=8]1d20+4: 10 [1d20=6] That's the Stealth check with the sniping penalty factored in.
Brown Dynamite Posted May 31, 2015 Author Posted May 31, 2015 Tou Save (DC22): 1d20+5 6 The dice gods just want Blue Jay to manhandle her foe
EternalPhoenix Posted May 31, 2015 Posted May 31, 2015 http://orokos.com/roll/295758 9. Again. I knew it, I just knew it. The dice gods have turned on me. HP Reroll, because DUH. http://orokos.com/roll/295760 13. Which is still crap. But! Using an HP adds 10 to roll's result if it is under ten. So...23, instead. That'll do fine.
Brown Dynamite Posted May 31, 2015 Author Posted May 31, 2015 Just realized. IThat shot actually missed Rav! I didn't add the 10 to the Archer's defense. Woooow.
EternalPhoenix Posted June 2, 2015 Posted June 2, 2015 Second verse, same as the first. Power Attack. Take 10 for that 15 result. DC 24

Raveled Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 Results 1d20+10: 21 [1d20=11] So it doesn't hurt, cool. Blue Jay's going to shoot back, of course. Results 1d20+15: 31 [1d20=16] DC 20 + Autofire.
EternalPhoenix Posted August 7, 2015 Posted August 7, 2015 Hell. Chase the door assassin, but slowly and carefully.
Raveled Posted August 7, 2015 Posted August 7, 2015 Hell. Chase the door assassin, but slowly and carefully."I'll recklessly chase after the assassin, being careful all the while."
EternalPhoenix Posted August 7, 2015 Posted August 7, 2015 Man, I don't know what to do. Not surprising I contradict myself. The plot lies thataway, as do potential victims of that explosion sound. But it could be an ambush. And Vonnie ain't still alive by walking into ambushes all the time. And his spatial awareness is on the fritz for reasons he doesn't quite understand yet. Devices, yes. Why they even work on him is another question entirely.
Brown Dynamite Posted September 8, 2015 Author Posted September 8, 2015 Tou Save (DC22): 1d20+4 19 Rooftop Archer picks up a second bruiseIt's a Trap!Well, sort of. As soon as the door is opened a minature a ballista appears out of nowhere and fires at SamaritanBallista (DC27): 1d20+4 7 Missing and flying out of the window It's not automated or anything, so he doesn't have to worry about it magically reloading and shooting him after the miss.Samaritan is also able to see that the immediate stair case has been blown away by something. (though it's a safe enough distance to jump down)The Door Assassin and non Rooftop archer are within Vonnie's view, though he couldn't reach them until next round.Speaking of, Door Assassin's readying an action with an RPG (cough he's aiming outside). "Coincidentally" the police begin leaving the crime scene and running to their vehicles. So that they may head towards the building where there was the sound of a freaking explosion. They're slow and Door Assassin's a minion so no worries~maybe~probably~ ROUND 4Initiative Character HP Damage Condition26 Rooftop Archer GM Bruised x2, in Partial Cover25 Archer GM Unharmed22 Swordsman 1 GM Unconscious22 Swordsman 2 GM Unconscious21 Blue Jay 3 Unharmed19 Samaritan 3 Unharmed10 Door Assasin GM UnharmedThe Rooftop Archer, gets out of partial cover and moves all out to jump and leap across the rooftop.
Raveled Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 Would it be possible to intercept the guy as he's jumping over? I'm foreseeing a rooftop-ledge interrogation.
Raveled Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 ... Okay. What do you want Jay to roll for that?
Brown Dynamite Posted September 10, 2015 Author Posted September 10, 2015 Well Jay can make it in a swing. So, really up to you if you want to trip, grapple, or even rush. Well probably not rush. Trip or Grapple though.
Brown Dynamite Posted September 15, 2015 Author Posted September 15, 2015 I say go with grapple. Anyways, should note EP's up ICly
