Thevshi Posted March 16, 2016 Author Posted March 16, 2016 Okay, with Moon-Moth being directed to hold the portal open, I will move on with the rest of the initiative (feel free to make an IC post anytime Ex) Seresk holds. Rux is just engaging in movement this round. Sullek makes an attack roll on Kharag, hitting with a 25. Kharag only gets a 12 on his toughness save, so he is staggered, disabled and dazed! (and knocked back a couple dozen feet).Sullek then leaps 400 feet away (back into the city they direction the bad guys had come from) Sai'x will shake off her daze (HP to Traveller) and the fly up into the air and off the direction Sullek is going. Amikai sends a lighting blast at Dragonid, hitting with a 27! Dragonid gets a 28, so he is fine. Amikai then flies off after Sai'x and Sullek. The robots in space keep blasting away at the ship. So, Corona is up!
Raveled Posted March 16, 2016 Posted March 16, 2016 So all the bad on the planet are retreating. Are any of the bodyguards and planetary governance folks from earlier still around?
Thevshi Posted March 16, 2016 Author Posted March 16, 2016 Well, all the sentient villains are fleeing, there are still a lot of automated drones that have now arrived and are attacking.Anyway, the two big bruisers that were with the Lor official are there, but unconscious. All the minor prisoners that were attacking that were not knocked out have run away. The Lor official is still there with Seresk.
Raveled Posted March 17, 2016 Posted March 17, 2016 Ah, well. I suppose it makes sense to take out the things that can still shoot us. Corona will fly up and blast the nearest drone. 1d20+10: 16 [1d20=6] That's pretty good.
Thevshi Posted March 17, 2016 Author Posted March 17, 2016 That hits, it only gets a 14 on its toughness save, so it explodes.
Thevshi Posted March 18, 2016 Author Posted March 18, 2016 Magnetar leads the Lor crewmembers out of the Devotion and onto the landing field. Dragonid takes off after the retreating bad guys, keeping up with Sai'x as he takes a shot at her, using Accurate Attack (-2 dam/+2 attack), he just hits with a 20. Sai'x gets a 10 on her toughness save, which means she is knocked out. Round Eight 27 Huhunu (Unharmed)23 Police drones (multiple)22 Cavalier (Unharmed, 3 HP)21 Mater Vyrdna (Unharmed, 1HP)21 Moon-Moth (Unharmed, 0 HP)21 Seresk (unharmed)20 Rux (unharmed)19 Sullek (bruised)18 Amikai (bruised)15 Kharag (staggered, disabled, dazed)15 Adiri (unharmed) (4,000' in air, 1 more rnds up, 3 rnds falling) 15 Sentry Robots14 Corona (Unharmed, 2 HP)13 Paradigm (bruised, 1 HP)8 Traveller (Unharmed, 2 HP)7 Magnetar (Unharmed)4 Dragonid (Unharmed) The police drones continue attacking, one shooting at Corona, missing with a 17. Another shoots at Traveller, missing with a 13. The last two shoot at Seresk and the Lor planetary rep: both missing with 14 and 8, although Seresk steps into the path of the attack aimed at the Lor, and it bounces off him. Two police drones fly over to attack Dragonid, 8 and 23, so a miss and a hit. Dragonid gets a 23 on his toughness save, so he is fine. So, back to Cav, TT, I will say he performs a move action searching, and finds a room with fifteen Lor bodies inside, all the missing crew.
Thevshi Posted March 18, 2016 Author Posted March 18, 2016 Oof, and I totally spaced that Traveller was up after Paradigm Go ahead with your action Tiff!
Thevshi Posted March 22, 2016 Author Posted March 22, 2016 Vahn, Ex, while we wait for Tiff to get a post up, you two can go ahead with your posts.
Vahnyu Posted March 22, 2016 Posted March 22, 2016 (edited) Ignore this post Edited March 22, 2016 by Vahnyu INGORE IT!
Tiffany Korta Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 Going to hit an area with a Damage 7 area trying to get as many drones as I can without hitting my own side.
Thevshi Posted March 23, 2016 Author Posted March 23, 2016 That catches two drones, both missing their reflex saves, and their toughness saves, so they are destroyed. Seresk cannot get to the last police drone, so he will continue guarding the Lor government official. Rux and Sullek continue their retreat, as does Amikai, who will take a shot at Dargonid first, hitting with a 23. Dragonid once again makes his toughness save with no ill effect. Nothing else exciting is going on on the ground, so Corna is up!
Raveled Posted March 25, 2016 Posted March 25, 2016 Corona's going to fire a blast at the last police drone and then growl at the last government rep. Results 1d20+10: 30 [1d20=20]
Thevshi Posted March 25, 2016 Author Posted March 25, 2016 With that critical hit, I will say it blows up with ease!
Thevshi Posted March 28, 2016 Author Posted March 28, 2016 Paradigm flies over to where Adiri has reached the max height she was thrown, and power attacks with her heat vision (-2/+2), hitting with a 26. Adiri's immunity cuts the +18 damage in half (to +9), she just misses her save with a 23, so takes a bruise.Traveller is up again Tiff!
Tiffany Korta Posted March 31, 2016 Posted March 31, 2016 Full out move to try and catch up with well everything!
Thevshi Posted April 1, 2016 Author Posted April 1, 2016 Magnetar flies after Traveller as they catch up with Dragonid. He will then use his cone area attack to blast three police drones (taking 10 to hit them): they all miss considerably and are destroyed. Dragonid will then keep after Amikai, sending a fire blast his way and hitting with a 26. Amikai gets an 11, so is knocked out! Two new police drones come after Dragonid, both missing. Two others come after Magnetar and Traveller, getting a 22 and 11, so Magnetar is hit. Magnetar easily makes his toughness save with a 28. Okay, technically Cav is up, but seeing as he, Moon-Moth and Mater Vyrdna will mainly be moving through the portal down to the Devotion and then trying to catch up with the others pursuing the bad guys (who are headed in the direction of the govenor's office) just post that when you can. As I stated to Vahn in chat, Mater using a full round of movement (with her array at her full movement speed) can get through the portal and then caught up with Traveller and Magnetar. Cav can easily catch up to them as well (and even catch up to Dragonid if he wants). Given Moon-Moth's slow flight speed (and Corona's as well), Ex you could have Moon-Moth teleport both of them after the rest, something he would eventually be able to do in about two rounds (as this first one will involve moving through the portal to the planet and shutting it down, so he will only have one teleport move action left after moving over to where Corona is. That should get everyone moving more or less together to get to the showdown with the remaining Deadly Dozen.
Vahnyu Posted April 1, 2016 Posted April 1, 2016 Mater Vyrdna Full Move Action: Move into the portal and follow Traveller and Magnetar.
Thevshi Posted April 1, 2016 Author Posted April 1, 2016 Also, forgot to post this: Round Nine 27 Huhunu (Unharmed)23 Police drones (multiple)22 Cavalier (Unharmed, 3 HP)21 Mater Vyrdna (Unharmed, 1HP)21 Moon-Moth (Unharmed, 0 HP)21 Seresk (unharmed)20 Rux (unharmed)19 Sullek (bruised)15 Kharag (staggered, disabled)15 Adiri (bruised) (2 more rnds falling) 15 Sentry Robots14 Corona (Unharmed, 2 HP)13 Paradigm (bruised, 1 HP)8 Traveller (Unharmed, 2 HP)7 Magnetar (Unharmed)4 Dragonid (Unharmed)
Thevshi Posted April 5, 2016 Author Posted April 5, 2016 Okay, at the moment the bad guys that are up are not doing much other than running, so don't feel that warrants a GM post. So Corona is up Rav!
Thevshi Posted April 7, 2016 Author Posted April 7, 2016 Okay, I am going to keep this moving forward, in part because Paradigm is generally removed from everyone else, but also because Corona is waiting for Moon-Moth's teleport. If you want to make a post Rav, feel free (you did just learn some info you might want to share with others!) Paradigm will again attack Adiri with her heat vision (using the base power attack for -2/+2), hitting with a 27! Once again a DC 24 toughness save for Adiri, she gets a 18, so is bruised and dazed. Adiri gets a 7 on her Concentration check, so her rock form shuts off.
Thevshi Posted April 8, 2016 Author Posted April 8, 2016 Magnetar will target some more of the police drones with his area attack, taking 10 to hit. All three miss their toughness saves and are destroyed. Dragonid will blast another police drone, also taking 10. It misses its toughness save and is destroyed as well. The police drones are not really part of this any longer, so I am removing them from the initiative. Also taking Kharag off as he is back at the Devotion, hurt and out of the fight. Round Ten27 Huhunu (Unharmed)22 Cavalier (Unharmed, 3 HP)21 Mater Vyrdna (Unharmed, 1HP)21 Moon-Moth (Unharmed, 0 HP)21 Seresk (unharmed)20 Rux (unharmed)19 Sullek (bruised)15 Adiri (bruised 2, dazed) (2 more rnds falling)14 Corona (Unharmed, 2 HP)13 Paradigm (bruised, 1 HP)8 Traveller (Unharmed, 2 HP)7 Magnetar (Unharmed)4 Dragonid (Unharmed) Cav is up TT, and he has a choice. He can easily move over to where Sullek is preparing for his next leap, or he can continue past Sullek toward the governor's offices, where the rest of the bad guys are. If you want to attack Sullek, go ahead with that attack roll, if you want to continue on, let me know and I will tell you what you find.
trollthumper Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 As much as Cavalier would just love to blast an asshole in the face, he has an obligation as a Star Knight to ensure that the local government is not disrupted (unless they're bastards). So, zooming forward to the Governor's mansion it is.
Thevshi Posted April 9, 2016 Author Posted April 9, 2016 Well, it is more like an office building than a mansion. But anyway, so Cav zooms up there, and finds dozens of other freedom criminals from the Sar-lan (nonpowered ones) gathered outside armed with various weapons (including a number with heavy anti-vehicle weapons).
trollthumper Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 All right, then. Target a heavy anti-vehicle weapon. Or not, as that's a 15.
