Exaccus Posted June 21, 2015 Posted June 21, 2015 (edited) here.Black knight will ready an action to try and counter a rift that opens and tries to consume a person, prioritizing in this order, Arnasaq, Children, Women, Men and finally himself. Edited June 21, 2015 by Exaccus
Ecalsneerg Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 OK, roll to see what's what: Super-Senses 8 (Magic Awareness 3 [Mental], Extras: Accurate, Acute, Extended [100ft Notice Increments], Ranged) Magic senses: 1d20+15 16 Well, all the nope
Raveled Posted June 25, 2015 Posted June 25, 2015 It seems like we're all pretty spread out. Does anyone want to (perhaps retroactively) be at the same portal?
Exaccus Posted June 25, 2015 Posted June 25, 2015 pretty sure the portals are going to pull us all through and dump us together somewhere, forcing us to team up because we're all we've got to rely on in the past.
Raveled Posted June 25, 2015 Posted June 25, 2015 I'm asking if anyone would volunteer to get some roleplay in before we're fighting dinosaurs.
Raveled Posted June 25, 2015 Posted June 25, 2015 It turns out that the hole outside of Grim's store is the one Miras is at.
Vahnyu Posted June 25, 2015 Author Posted June 25, 2015 Feel free to do so, if you will. No objection from me!
Raveled Posted June 25, 2015 Posted June 25, 2015 We don't need to change anything. We just write with the expectation that it's always been true.
Vahnyu Posted June 26, 2015 Author Posted June 26, 2015 Equinox:The Tears not only appear to be non-magical in their nature, they are outright interfering with your magical senses, returning a "static noise" the more you concentrate on them. Furthermore, the Psychic Backlash overtaxes your brainwaves, causing you to become Fatigued, but also earning you a Hero Point.Equinox (Unharmed, Fatigued), 5HP
Exaccus Posted July 3, 2015 Posted July 3, 2015 Can i open a portal in-front of the lady so she'll run through it and poof out near the police cruisers or failing that somewhere safe that i can see?
Raveled Posted July 3, 2015 Posted July 3, 2015 Miras is going to use her Illusion power on the three horses. That'll be DC15 Will for them to not think they're in a barn.
Vahnyu Posted July 3, 2015 Author Posted July 3, 2015 Horses: Will save vs DC15 Illusion: 3#1d20+2 14 16 102 of the horses calm down under the illusion, but the third seems still unfettered
Exaccus Posted July 3, 2015 Posted July 3, 2015 Ok, portal the runaway mom and kids back to me and diplomance them into staying calm!1d20+6=26woohoo.
Vahnyu Posted July 5, 2015 Author Posted July 5, 2015 I think that, given Miras casted the illusion while being right next to Grim, that Grim should be aware that it is, in fact, an illusory effect. No saving throw required for her.
Heritage Posted July 8, 2015 Posted July 8, 2015 (edited) Okay, let's tame the mighty beast, Grim!Ride roll: 1d20+10=16 Edited July 8, 2015 by Heritage
Vahnyu Posted July 8, 2015 Author Posted July 8, 2015 (edited) Grimalkin:A 16 Ride check beats the DC15 to mount the rampaging horse as a move action, and stay saddled. Taming and halting the beast would require a second roll, though, beating a DC20. Alternatively, you could attempt to steer the galloping horse away from Black Knight and the citizens, for a DC15 ride (Something which could solve the immediate problem, albeit at the cost of complicating things). Or you could try something else, if you have another idea. Edited July 8, 2015 by Vahnyu
Heritage Posted July 8, 2015 Posted July 8, 2015 Not entirely confident in her getting that DC20, so she'll go for the redirect instead.
Thevshi Posted July 8, 2015 Posted July 8, 2015 Okay, Tsunami will use her Create Object 14 to put a dome of solid water over the photographer to try to stop the falling car.She will then fly out toward the boat in trouble.
