Heritage Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 (edited) Okay, redirecting this horse!1d20+10=11Wow, how amazingly crappy! I know it's early in the game, but I'm gonna blow an HP on a reroll. Grim's going back in time, so there should be a few chances for her to earn an HP or two from encountering some wrought iron.Rerolled Ride check: 1d20+10=20Much better! Vahnyu Posted July 9, 2015 Author Posted July 9, 2015 Grimalkin:You manage to avoid the civilians (DC15 success), but then, before you have a chance to catch your breath, you find yourself headed towards the trees in the park. Thankfully, you were aware enough to steer the horse correctly (DC20 success), thus avoiding a Grimmer fate, and eventually, manage to reign in the horse to a full stop (DC25+ success, remember, using an HP reroll means that rolling anything bellow 11 gets a +10 on the result), before further catastrophe!
Heritage Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 Ah, was thinking it was under 10 on the roll to get the +10; cool beans!
Ecalsneerg Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 Concentration check to 'cover ears' from psychic static: 1d20+16 31
Vahnyu Posted July 14, 2015 Author Posted July 14, 2015 cool, the DC was 22 as discussed in chat, so go ahead and post.
Heritage Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 I'm gonna just do a whole new post tonight when I get home, not to weasel in an extra post (though it is nice), but because editing a post on that scale on my phone would be maddening.
Vahnyu Posted July 15, 2015 Author Posted July 15, 2015 no complaints from me, Heri. Perhaps give Grim the chance to talk with Equinox who just addressed the other heroes?
Exaccus Posted July 19, 2015 Posted July 19, 2015 knowledge history to see if i can tell when the horses are from by any heraldric symbols on their barding or saddles or what not?
Raveled Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 Miras is going to use her magical senses on the horses. Are they actually real, or are they maybe enchanted somehow?
Vahnyu Posted July 22, 2015 Author Posted July 22, 2015 Black Knight:roll ahead if you wish. DC15 for some knowledge, DC20 for more accurate knowledge, and DC25+ for Maximum Nerdom!Miras:You can't seem to trace even one inch of magic in these horses. Not only are they nonmagical, themselves, but there also doesn't seem to be a single trace of magical tampering anywhere near them.
Exaccus Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 oh boy oh boy.Knowledge History1d20+4=20I know some things!
Ecalsneerg Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 I'll chuck in a Skill Masteried Knowledge (Arcana) 25 and (Theology) 20, see if that yields anything about the horses or tears (doubtful)
Vahnyu Posted February 25, 2016 Author Posted February 25, 2016 Well, then, after all this time, I'm back on having an internet connection 24/7. This means that, if you are interested, this thread can get back in motion! Apologies, nonetheless for the gigantic break.
Raveled Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 I still want to know about Equinox's horse theory!
