Dr Archeville Posted May 8, 2008 Posted May 8, 2008 What, theres' no thread on :bat: ? For shame! Newest trailer SPOILER: Leaked image of Two-Face. Looks like they went the CGI route.
Barnum Posted May 8, 2008 Posted May 8, 2008 I just re-watched Batman Begins the other night when it was on TV. I'm looking forward to this one. :)
Dr Archeville Posted July 9, 2008 Author Posted July 9, 2008 Rumor is there'll be a Watchmen teaser trailer with this flick.
Ryoga Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 Actually already saw a picture with Rorschach going at it with someone. It was on G4 when they were discussing. Rorschach And here's a picture I found.
MBCE Posted July 15, 2008 Posted July 15, 2008 Ah.... I still have to wait until August before I get to see it. At least I get to see all the hero flicks pretty much all near each other. Dark Knight, Hulk, Iron Man, Hancock. This is going to be a busy summer for me!
Sandman XI Posted July 19, 2008 Posted July 19, 2008 Oh. My. God. So much unadulterated awesome was in this movie. Words cannot describe how much I am geeking out about it.
Veiled Malice Posted July 19, 2008 Posted July 19, 2008 Even better than Iron Man, if I say so myself, and I thought that was damn near the best movie ever. There's just so much crammed into it, and they somehow found time to develop every character there, even the smaller roles. Simply amazing. Oh, and yes, there was a Watchmen trailer. That movie is going to be sick! ("Sick", in this case, being good. )
Shadowboxer Posted July 20, 2008 Posted July 20, 2008 This movie is worth seeing. The hype around Ledger's performance was not exaggerated; he seemed genuinely inspired by his role. I strongly recommend watching it if you're a Batman fan.
FelixZ Posted July 20, 2008 Posted July 20, 2008 I heard Robin Williams had gone out for the Joker role.
Veiled Malice Posted July 20, 2008 Posted July 20, 2008 I heard Robin Williams had gone out for the Joker role. And where, pray tell, might I be able to find this vicious rumor so that I might be able to smite those who would perpetrate such an abomination on a magnificent franchise? Don't get me wrong, Robin's good in some things - like Good Will Hunting, and... yeah, after that, I got nothing. But they tried casting a comedian in a Batman villain role. That was the result. :shame: Ledger did such a fantastic job of playing - sorry, being - the Joker, I seriously doubt anyone can fill his shoes.

Tonnes of work where Williams has been non-comedic.

Dr Archeville Posted July 24, 2008 Author Posted July 24, 2008 Hi, I'm a Marvel...and I'm a DC: Iron Man and Batman #4
Geez3r Posted July 28, 2008 Posted July 28, 2008 Okay, I'm late in seeing it, but I just saw The Dark Knight yesterday, and its far better than people say, which is saying something. I don't think anyone else could have or should have played the Joker other than Ledger. There was like 3 or 4 times there where I just had to stop thinking about anything else other than what I had just seen so I could fully bask in its glory. It has raised the bar for artistic expression as a whole.
Dr Archeville Posted August 22, 2008 Author Posted August 22, 2008 All future DC Superhero movies to be DARK?
Geez3r Posted August 22, 2008 Posted August 22, 2008 Ever wish you had the Green Latern's powers so you could make a hand large enough to smack some sense into somebody's thick skull?
