To heck with it, have Phalanx fly her off. Intimidation roll just for fun 1d20+9=16. Then he'll punch back-up 3 for the heck of it.

 

Damage from Kinetic Strike, -3 from Fatigued is a DC 22 Toughness with Knockback 3, Mighty, Improved Critical 2.

Sorry about the delay had a busy weekend and needed rule clarification

 

Sense Motive 1d20+9=29; He is so far unmoved.

 

Phalanx is a goody goody and will interpose the attack and offer an obnoxious moralizing soliloquy 

Losing dodge bonus to defense 16 will hit but the damage is below his impervious threshold so no damage.

 

Kingsnake is up.

Kingsnake will take a full action to use Intimidate to interrogate #3.  He'll take 10 with Skill Mastery and get 25.

 

On one hand, the villian is helpless.  On the other hand, Kingsnake's exhausted and his last couple of attacks have been ineffective.  So you make the call whether he gets a +2 or -2 circumstance bonus to resist, or if the various factors even out.

 

I'm assuming that, since #3 is Helpless, at least part of his hard-to-lose Device can be removed.  Let me know if I'm mistaken, and I'll edit accordingly.

At this point the Intimidation is in the heroes favor so I'll give you the +2

 

Sense Motive 1d20+9=13:  aaaand you don't need it but still fail by 14 so he's gonna spill the beans!

 

And yea he's helpless so removal of his armor is totally possible given time no need to edit.

this is about to ready to wrap up I think.  If people are interested in playing through a witness protection scenario I can see about setting something up in a separate thread or something.

Well we can do that in this thread if people want.  Just been kinda draggin since combat ended so that could go in a separate thread or continue here if people are interested.  Not sure if its the holidays or what just don't want people feeling trapped in more thread than they signed up for!

I would be up for a protection thread pitting this group against Orion. Maybe even set it at the courthouse during the lady's testimony.

Miras would be up for it, but I think I'd want her to whip up something using Ritualist, first. An Illusion effect to let her and the lady in red switch places. Better all around if Orion is shooting at the wrong person.
