A Very Unlikely Assembly

[MBCE]

Shui shoots out a blast of water at the nearby redskinned thug which hits easily and sends him flying back towards his fellows. The strength of the blast draws power from the surrounding mist, lessening the area it affects but still manages to keep the immediate area completely covered.

Icarus fires and fails to hit his target, but moves closer to his prize. The sudden movement of stunned thug shows that the hero packs a decent punch.

The blast by Icarus doesn't go unnoticed. Realizing that the mist is blocking all sight, one of the red skinned thugs rips out a light pole and begins to twirl the pole over head. He spins the pole fast and fast, creating a counter wind against the mist that covers the area. Shui can feel the wind blow away his mist, clearing the area for all to see.

With the air cleared, the Thugs up on the roofs see the costumed hero near the police car and together fire and hit Shui.

Thugs raise their weapons and fire at Icarus as well. Bullets hit the flying armroed form but fail to penatrate. The Powered thug waits for Icarus to come into reach, ready to smash the flying hero as soon as he comes into reach.

[Heridfel]

Icarus sees the thug preparing to hit him, and he barely stifles a chuckle. Floating down from the ground, he lands directly in the middle of a group of the thugs, including the one who is just waiting for him to get close enough.

"You go first," he thinks. He's not going to make it easy on the thug by not dodging, but he will move close enough that it could try to punch him. "But then, it's my turn."

Ullgir runs quickly behind the police cars, keeping back far enough as to not alarm them, yet letting him see their destination once they get close enough. The Vehicles turn a corner and as he follows he can see an unnatural fog standing, an eerie feeling crawling through his head. "Hel's demon's come in the fog this day, these who slay man and use their flesh for their skull caps."

As the thought occurred in his mind the mist was blown away by a red skinned creature holding a club of some sort. Ullgir would love to move into combat but something in him makes him hold. "Something is not right here. I must make my actions strike true." He brings himself to a stop near a vehicle in the middle of the street, looking on at those that he can see from his vantage point.

As he prepares himself for battle he sees one other dropping from the sky, clad in armor and standing at the creature with a pole. Ullgir smiles and speaks softly to himself, "Yet do my eyes deceive me, another of honor. This day brings more hope still." before pulling his sword from its' sheath and looking for a worthy opponent.

Shui Quickly creates a large wave of water around himself attempting to block the incoming bullets… Shui curses as the bullets hit his shield, As much as he liked the boy, his body was so week, and had yet to adjust to Shui’s powers, Thus Shui was limited buy what he could do with water. Turning his attention to the skinheads on the roof shooting at him. Shui created a sudden Blast of water from behind one of the thugs…

Icarus lands admist the thugs and they are quick to react. The power thugs brings his fist around in a powerful haymaker that easily hits the armored man before him. The normal thugs also fire their weapons at him but the bullets bounce off harmlessly.

Shui's water blast catches the thug on the roof by surprise and the blast is so strong that the skinhead is knocked senseless.

Again the thugs fire on the police down below. A few of the shots hit their targets dropping the officers. A few shots head out towards Shui as well. They hit, penetrating his forcefield.

The thugs by the truck continue to work on getting at the contents, ignoring the chaos around them.

The blow from the super thug actually manages to hurt Icarus. He's forced to re-assess the threat that the skinhead poses. Swinging out powerfully, he connects with the man who hit him. He hopes that the heroes will take some of the heat off him - these guys are tougher than they looked.

[MBCE]

Icarus' blow is just as solid and is able to rock the red skinned thug. The man shakes his head, in an attempt to settle down his suddenly rotating vision.

OOC: Stunned and bruised.

Shui braces himself as the bullets force themselves through the shield. Curse this week body Shui thinks to himself, as he grits his teeth and fires another blast to the last thug on the nearby rooftop creating a jet of water behind the thung. [F5]

Shui's blast of water again takes out another thug from the fight, giving the police officer some relief.

Ullgir steps forward from around the vehicle in front of him. As he rounds the corner he sees one of the red skinned creatures standing there. His sword already drawn he begins to run forward, bringing it down on one of the monsters.

"Foul creature, I'll end your terror this day."

Icarus smiles inside his suit when the skinhead has to take a couple seconds to try to suck in his breath. "Can dish it out, but can't take it," he thinks.

Still, the ones unloading clips at him are beginning to annoy him. No matter how invulnerable he seems to be to their bullets, he doesn't want to risk a lucky shot. Thoughts of what killed his father begin to dance on the edge of his mind, and he slams his foot down to the ground, as much to drive them away as to achieve his other goal - knocking down all of the people around him. It's a solid hit, and the ground ripples beneath his feet.

Ullgir steps forward from around the vehicle in front of him. As he rounds the corner he sees one of the red skinned creatures standing there. His sword already drawn he begins to run forward, bringing it down on one of the monsters.

The sword comes down too quickly for the red skinned thug to avoid the blow. The blow rocks the man's world and he drops the lightpole he was holding in response. He shakes his head in an attempt to clear it.

As Colton arrives on the scene, he sees the police taking fire and rethinks his original plan of riding his bike through the scene, and jousting whoever he came across. He decides instead that the thing to do is park behind the car in front of him and bring his assault rifle to bear.

Initiative (1d20+4=8)

As Colton arrives on the scene, the ground erupts from a great tremor that knocks all but one of the skinheads onto the ground. Those standing on the buildings waver slightly but are otherwise unaffected by the small tremor.

The police, further from the epicenter of the tremor, simply rock back and forth but remain standing. The few cars on teh street jump slightly in teh air near the center of the shockwave, but land with very little damage.

The ground shakes under the Norsemans' feet, yet through the tremor the Viking was able to keep his footing. Smiling at the display of strength from the armored figure Ullgir brings his sword down in responce. The ferocity of the blows almost startles Ullgir himself.

"It has been some time since my sword has seen battle, it gladdens me to see that still strikes true."

[Kavos]

Shui stands still for a second, not sure of his next move. Moving behind the near buy police van, Shui thinks for a moment on his next move...

Hoping no one has seen him arrive yet, Colton teleports up to a nearby rooftop and opens fire on three of the minions standing guard there, dropping only one.

OOC: Teleport to square E15, attack minions at squares E11, I11, and I15 by walking autofire. Drops the one at I11.

Icarus considers pinning all the people he knocked down to the ground, but decides that it probably isn't worth the effort. Better to keep that little trick hidden as a surprise for later. Only the Viking guy looks like he might be strong enough to stand against it, and it could prove handy against the others.

Instead, he glances inside the cab of the car to see if there's anyone still inside. If so, he'll walk around, open the door, and wave at the driver to run. If not, he'll continue around to the back to see if it's been opened yet and whether the skinheads started to steal what is rightfully his to steal.

The Norseman's blow, though powerful, does little to the stunned man before him.

Shui moves slightly behind the Van to plan his next actions. Colton's fire draws the attention of the thugs on the roof. Bullets spray out towards the hero, but all fail to hit the agile hero.

Icarus sees that the driver had already moved away and he easily walks to the back of the van. The doors are open and inside is the prize that he was searching for. Three stunned skinheads are inside near the container. From behind Icarus, the fallen redskinned men begin to rise slowly to their feet.

The normal skinheads are still stunned and slow to move.

[Vaalus]

Ullgir is amazed that the creature yet stands, watching it as he prepares another attack. As his sword comes down the creature moves, though he can not tell if it is by accident or on purpose, his sword fails to connect.

[Kavos]

An idea in his head, Shui looked around the van to the nearest building with thugs on it. Than concentrating, he creates a heavy fog to cover the top of that building only.

His hands than begin to drip with water as water formed around them creating long sharp claws on the end of his fingers…

Colton focuses his fire on the Thug in front of him, getting him out of the way before taking a few steps that way to make a running jump to the next roof.

Icarus sighs. He didn't expect the skinheads to just stay down, but their attempts to surprise him are a little boring. His radar senses them standing up, and he turns around to face them. He crosses his arms over his chest and tries to intimidate them into backing down. If they keep coming toward him, he'll see just how strong they are, weighing them (and only them) down by several tons.

The Norseman swung his sword but failed to hit his target. Shui quickly and easily dropped his mist upon the southern building from the truck, blocking the skinheads' view of the streets below. Colton Fired a quick shot that dropped the nearby thug before making a very impressive jump to the other building.

Icarus strikes an impressive pose that demoralizes one of the red skinned thug. He waits to see what happens next, ready to weight them down if they try to attack him.

The thugs react quickly to the presence of the super powered adversaries.

The power thug swings at the Norseman but also fails to hit. Another of the powered thugs charges the Norseman, but he also barely fails to hit.

The demoralized thug struck out at Icarus. The blow fails to hit and Icarus retaliates by increasing the thug's gravity. The extra weight is more than it can take and it drops to the ground. The action opens Icarus to an attack from the other thug who manages to land a blow upon the metal encased man.

The remaining two power thugs quickly run to the truck and together manage to lift the truck up slightly.

The four skinheads all fire at Colton. The hero is hit multiple times.

Two skinheads fire at Shui and the hero is riddled with bullets.

Ullgir looks on as another of the Red Thugs charges him, barely missing his armor. Looking at the new combatant for a brief second his attention turns again to his original target, bringing his sword across his target again.

"It'll take more than two demons to bring death to me."
