This is still entirely a work-in-progress, especially the story. I wanted to put it up to make sure that I'd done the mechanical parts right, and if the basic character/story idea would work. I'm probably still going to tweak stuff as I go, and I definitely need to get a better thing about Seeker's homeworld done. The name, especially, needs work, and I am 100% open to suggestions.

Summary of Homeworld (Ghazan): Founded by long-dead superbeings, the civilizations of Ghazan has changed little over the millenia since it was founded - not surprising when it is considered that they believe their laws and cultural values were set in place by gods, fallen from the heavens during a great war. Ghazanians are split largely into two groups. First, the Imperials, who live in a strict caste society set in place when the gods first fell to earth, where warrior-nobles stand at the top, divided into their own hierarchy by their closeness to lines descended from the gods, and peasants who stand at the bottom, and do all the meniallabor for their nobles. Second, the Tribals, who rejected heavenly rule when the gods fell, and have waged a war against the Imperials from the uninhabitable wastelands they call home. Both are heavily military societies, with the Imperial nobility being almost entirely composed of warriors, brought up from birth to learn the ways of the sword and bow, and the Tribals led by those among them who demonstrate the greatest strength at arms, their children taught to fight more by necessity than by hallowed tradition.

Imperial Ghazan is ruled by two kings, a system set in palace to ensure no tyrant could rule for long - each one given an ancestral weapon (a blade or a bow) wielded by the first rulers chosen by the gods to rule. When one king dies, the leaders among the lesser officials of the Empire are called together to choose a new one from his children or, if the king has no living children, from among those related to him. Imperials live by a strict code of honor that emphasises respect and obedience to those above oneself and, ultimately, to the gods themselves.

Like many of his Imperial kin, Seeker is lithe, with black hair falling down to the center of his back, bound into a long ponytail. He can mostly pass for human, but for two details. First, his feet have only two toes, split down the center, and are thinner and longer than normal human feet. Second, his ears don't curve into a circle, but rather come to a sharp point, and are an inch longer than a human's ears. A small patch of scars decorates the outside corner of his left eye, and tattoos of religious devotion cover his left arm and part of his chest.

Power Descriptions:

Seeker has no inborn powers, beyond his training and some enhanced natural strength from his alien heritage. Instead, his powers come from the two weapons he wields, and the suit he wears. All is advanced technology, the blade using specially formed energy to cut through even the strongest armor, and special balancing mechanisms within the suit to move faster than average. The bow uses the same energies, but shapes them into arrows, to be fired at distant targets, and similarly pierce any armor placed before it. Both weapons are powered by energy sources stored within the suit, though they require a moment to switch from one to another, as the amount of energy and the shape it must take, are both unique to the weapon.

History:

Born into the family of the current Blade King of Ghazan, Genzo was considered both cursed and blessed. Though his heritage meant that, once his father died, he would be eligible to take up the ancient blade and rule, it also meant that much more expectation was placed on him than even other members of the high nobility. He was expected to master the ways of the blade along with his siblings, as well as the arts of statesmanship and bureaucracy, and a variety of other artistic pursuits. He was provided with tutors and mentors to push him along. Not long after he reached adulthood, both his father and the Archer King passed away of old age, not far from one another. Trials were held among the children of both kings, to determine who had the skills necessary to succeed them. Though he tried hard, Genzo was passed over, and his older brother was chosen to be raised above him.

The night before the coronation of the new kings, Genzo went to visit his brother and congratulate him, and stumbled upon his brother talking with a man hidden in the shadows. Genzo listened and heard his brother plotting to have the Archer King assassinated that night, and that he would temporarily rule as the only king until another was chosen - and would then hand the Empire over to aliens in exchange for greater power among them. Genzo ran to save the new Archer King, but arrived too late, and barely survived the battle with the King's assassins.

In a moment of desperation, knowing no one would accept the word of a prince when put against the word of a king, Genzo chose to violate tradition to save it. Wounded, he snuck into the shrine where the rulers' weapons were kept, and stole them both. Without the weapons, no new ruler could be crowned, and until they were recovered a council of lower-caste individuals would rule, "advised" by the future kings. With the weapons and suits stolen, Genzo fled off-world. After finding a safe place to hide for a while, he used his limited knowledge of the technologies involved in them to combine them into one suit that he could use, and set out to discover who it was that was plotting with his brother. Capturing them and forcing them to confess would give his accusations legitimacy, and once his brother was executed, Genzo would be able to take his place as Blade King, and so save Ghazan.

Personality & Motivation:

Seeker is a man on a mission. His world is in danger, and he can't return until he's resolved it. Even worse, while he tries to save it, hunters from his world are sent to find and kill him, and recover the sacred relics he stole. Even so, the work he does is slow going, with sometimes long periods of time passing before he gets another lead, and Seeker cannot simply sit and wait. Instead, he turns his attention to something else to take up his time, and often works as a hero, helping those who are abused by those above them, or who try to unjustly take the power of those above them. He often comes across as casually arrogant, someone who feels that it is his right to rule, but also as someone who accepts the responsibilities of rulership as much as he does the benefits.

Powers & Tactics:

Complications:
Wanted (Thief):
Dissonance: The twin weapons Seeker wields are meant to be used by two different people, wearing two different corresponding suits - this is because each weapon requires its own unique power source and compensation systems. However, when he stole the weapons, he simply cannibalized both suits and attempted to combine them. Because of the clashing systems, the suit occasionally surges and damage both him and it, necessitating repairs.

Sacrosanct: The Ancestral weapons, whilst technically useable by anyone also wearing the suit, were handed down by the divine to the Ghazanian royal family. Only the royals are permitted to even touch them, and anyone else attempting to take or use them will spark severe retribution, at the very least inciting a beating. Even just the suggestion that they would be better in another's hands will very quickly draw his ire.

One small note, Pumpkin, you can save the stuff about Ghazan for a Guidebook entry, which would both be more appropriate, make the sheet more compact and easier to read and keep that information where most people would look to find it.

If the weapons and the suit are required to work together, if you can't use one without the other, why not making them the same Device? Why split them up if they can't work separately?
