Ra-endome Posted August 14, 2016 Posted August 14, 2016 Basic idea = several heroes happen to be in Liberty Park on an early evening when a glowing Indomitus Rex appears and starts munching on the crowd. The heroes spontaneously step up to distract the creature from the normals as the normals evacuate, and discover that each other are there. I will be following this post with a write-up of the creature. Our limit will probably be eight characters....Prefer already approved characters please.

Supercape Posted August 14, 2016 Posted August 14, 2016 Ill cautiously throw Doctor Warp in! Ill give one note of impertinent advice however; even the most experienced GMs here (myself included) very rarely run a thread with more than 4 PCs. Good on you for throwing yourself in, but, 8 is an awful lot to manage - its not just the technical aspect (which is manageable albeit hard work), its that with eight PCs (heck, even with five), waiting for everyone to post in order really slows things down to a crippling and potentially lethal (for the thread) pace. As Oscar Wilde said, however, the only thing to do with good advice is to pass it on, its of no use to oneself!

Since his various Str-s add to 60 as regards lifting etc, would you please note his carrying capacities, etc on the sheet somewhere? And you are aware that Affects Insubstantial 1 makes it half the rank affects the Insubstantial target, right? So his combat Str, vs Insubstantial, is effectively (6 +12) 18, bonus = +4. And Dr Deoxy is also fine! (Isn't his Initiative a +6, not a +7?) Two docs and suddenly Redline is poor!! lol! So, just after the In-Game intro (Redline), please write-up an interesting reason why the good Doctors are in the Park as evening begins to fall. Was Dr Warpe a pickpocket victim, perhaps? Feel free to activate/ make use of complications... I guess we can try it at less than 8, do you guys want to try it at three? Or maybe we start w 3 and add others as they show up. Anyway, to note we cannot edit our own sheets (that goes for the moderators too). Any alterations have to be put in character edit requests (and generally, the ettiquette is to wait to spend at least a few Power points before putting in minor edits like that). For reference: STR: 60 Light Load: 16 tons, Medium Load: 32 tons, Heavy Load: 50 tons, Max Load: 100 tons, Push/Drag: 250 tons

React to Main Scene 1 in whichever way seems most natural: Those who wish to attack the dinosaur from the side (and thus be away from an immediately attacking part), feel free to do so and discover some of the monster's nature (physical attacks pass through it without doing any damage and without attracting its attention.) Those that damage it will attract its attention (special effect, when it is damaged, it doesn't bleed, but the glowing "flesh" looks fuzzy and it doesn't move 'right' thereafter), and will then counter-attack. Its rolls for checks, senses, and attacks = [ http://first round rolls: 20d20 245 ] 4, 19, 19, 5, 3, 17, 16, 20, 13, 10, 3, 20, 19, 9, 2, 13, 17, 12, 18, 6. Intro-s posted. Dr Warp is up first. If he does not attack but waits around for a couple of rounds (the '4' is its failed spot to see him in the first round; the '19' is a success), it will come charging over and attack. That's also when Dr Deoxy will be arriving, from the sky, to the side of the trail. We have to figure out how all of that goes down, because right after that is when Redline will become available.
