EternalPhoenix Posted August 20, 2016 Posted August 20, 2016 (edited) This is the OOC. Feel free to ask me quite literally anything about the thread, especially if it doesn't make sense. I've likely missed something. As the proposal stated, Terrifica posted on Superhero Craigslist looking for some help. Got two, sent a message to Miracle Girl to lend a hand. No more, no less. Heritage Posted August 20, 2016 Posted August 20, 2016 Tagged! Also note that Casey's sheet was just edited, so she's a bit more badass now; her eyes shoot frickin' lasers!
Heritage Posted August 21, 2016 Posted August 21, 2016 Cape: I don't think Terrifica is out in the open, but in fact hiding in the shadows waiting for the dramatic reveal, unless you have a power that lets you see her.
EternalPhoenix Posted August 21, 2016 Author Posted August 21, 2016 Well, yes. She is a Cowl, after all.
Heritage Posted August 25, 2016 Posted August 25, 2016 (edited) So is there a way we can move forward without Handyman? I love this set-up, and would hate to lose this thread if we can avoid it. Edited August 25, 2016 by Heritage
olopi Posted August 25, 2016 Posted August 25, 2016 Agreed, I really enjoy where the thread is heading too. The decision's up to EP but if there is any way of moving forward, I'm in favour of it too.
EternalPhoenix Posted August 25, 2016 Author Posted August 25, 2016 Yeah, we've only just started anyway. I would like to whistle up a replacement, though. By the will of the almighty cosmic retcon, Handyman was never there. And maybe someone else was.
Heritage Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 Are you calling Casey 'Headcase' on purpose? She's going by 'Hardcase' on this job
Heritage Posted September 2, 2016 Posted September 2, 2016 Is it acceptable for Casey to ask for Terrifica's help in creating a disguise? I'm mostly thinking a brunette wig and brown contacts, but she wouldn't mind looking a little older, too. This is not essential, but just a thought; I'm actually considering adding some ranks of Disguise in her next edit, as I enjoy seeing her undercover.
EternalPhoenix Posted September 2, 2016 Author Posted September 2, 2016 Well, sure. But it's not like Terrifica has any ranks in it, either. I'm just assuming she took 20 this morning.
EternalPhoenix Posted September 8, 2016 Author Posted September 8, 2016 (edited) Crow & Miracle Girl must Bluff Pine into thinking they’re new hires/employees. If one fails, the other can perform another check to cover for the one who failed. He is vulnerable to Attractive females. As for the instruction of Bonfire: Terrifica will make a KN (tech) check Bombshell will make a Sleight of Hand check For every 5 points of success, Bonfire gains a +1 temporary skill ranks, and is temporarily trained. I dunno why this isn't a feat already, but I like it and he'll need the help. Probably. If the dice hate him. http://orokos.com/roll/434783 Terrifica rolls almost as well as she can. 18 for a 33 total. So for his interview, Bonfire will get a +6 to any KN (tech) checks. Though sadly his INT bonus is zero. All right, who's next? Edited September 8, 2016 by EternalPhoenix
alderwitch Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 Bombshell's slight of hand is skill mastered for a total of 25
Heritage Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 (edited) Rolling for Casey, including Attractive bonus: 1d20+10=18. Meh, less than impressive. Let me know what that gets me. Also willing to HP that if necessary. Edited September 8, 2016 by Heritage
Heritage Posted September 9, 2016 Posted September 9, 2016 Y'know what, fuggit; burning an HP to fuel a reroll. 1d20+10=30 Boom-shakalaka! I will post based on that.
Quinn Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 And replied - keeping his mouth shut and letting Miracle Girl work her magic.
Heritage Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 Casey will actually apologize later for that awful joke; it was just the first name that popped in her head.
EternalPhoenix Posted September 17, 2016 Author Posted September 17, 2016 Well, that 18 was higher than Mr. Pine can actually roll. Because he's a Bystander, and really doesn't care. So -5 penalty to his Sense Motive. alder, anything else Bombshell would want to give Bonfire a few pointers on?
Quinn Posted September 21, 2016 Posted September 21, 2016 Activating Skill Mastery (Intimidate), Taking 10 for a 20. Doing mah Eliot impression.
alderwitch Posted September 23, 2016 Posted September 23, 2016 Sorry, I didn't see the question here but I'm good!
