Resting comfortably on Lantern Hill, the Gerber House sits on top of a magical nexus.  Once coveted as a figurative seat of power, many have lost their lives trying to draw its strength as their own.

The Nexus has given the Gerber house a sort of consciousness of its own.  One that shares a symbiotic relationship with its current owner.  But, the raw untapped power stored within the home is still one that those in the know would be wise to remain wary around

Murder, murder, murder.  It seems every owner of the Gerber House from its inception has met a perilous end before the home changed hands.  When the building last went on the market it took over thirty years before a buyer even showed the slightest bit of interest.  Although it's not clear who that buyer was.

Over a decade ago, AEGIS quietly purchased the old Gerber House.  The owner, supposedly runs a top secret "Special Projects" division out of her home.  AEGIS' euphemism for "supernatural investigations".

Oddly, the greenery on the house of the Gerber House seems to exist outside of the cycle of seasons.  Flowers that should not possibly thrive in this climate grow without issue, and nothing short of a blizzard has ever seemed to affect their growth.
