Raveled Posted January 17, 2012 Posted January 17, 2012 The Mayans were right and this is a sign of the apocalypse?
Dr Archeville Posted February 23, 2012 Posted February 23, 2012 from io9: Watch the trailer for Morgan Spurlock’s Comic-Con documentary and decide: geek celebration or nerdsploitation? Morgan Spurlock, the director behind Super Size Me, has turned his lens to the world's biggest geek gathering, the San Diego Comic-Con. Interviewing such nerd icons as Kevin Smith, Joss Whedon, Eli Roth and Stan Lee, Spurlock attempts to dissect the cultural phenomenon that is SDCC. How so? By following a handful of attendees as they make their way through the convention center. Here's the synopsis for Comic-Con Episode IV: A Fan's Hope: We'll be honest, we were very nervous about this documentary, fearing it may be another Big Bang Theory in documentary clothing, but so far it appears to be both honest and endearing. We're keeping our fingers crossed it stays that way. Oh, and in case you're wondering, that's footage from Comic-Con 2010. Comic-Con Episode IV: A Fan's Hope will be out sometime this year.
N/A Posted February 24, 2012 Posted February 24, 2012 He does some good work, but Spurlock's a douchebag. I don't trust him with my fandoms. :argh:
