Dr Archeville Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 New IRON MAN 2 Trailer (attache case armor!!!)
N/A Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 New IRON MAN 2 Trailer (attache case armor!!!) WAR MACHINE! BLACK WIDOW! JUSTIN HAMMER! ATTACHE CASE ARMOR! MICKEY FREAKING ROURKE AS CRIMSON DYNAMO*! I am so there. *Yes, I know he's technically a combination of Crimson Dynamo and Whiplash. I don't care.
Geez3r Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 And the attache case armor looked like a bit of a shout out to Iron Patriot as well. So gonna see this ASAP.
Heritage Posted March 9, 2010 Posted March 9, 2010 This does indeed look super-cool; I really love this trend of non-action movie directors who are secretly nerds making action movies, because they care enough to get the details right. And yeah, that suitcase armor is so damn sick! 8-)
Geez3r Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 Yeah, I had always thought that the attache was one of the stupor powers from comics. "That would totally never work..." *watches the screen* "Holy ****! I want one!"
quotemyname Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 I saw Alice in Wonder Land over the weekend. I liked it. The 3D was a nice touch, but wasn't an integral part of the movie like it was for Avatar. I wouldn't pay any extra money to see it in 3D. I thought the take on the story was quite interesting. But the ending left me wanting. There was an appropriate amount of resolution, but the addition of the final scene seemed rather forced. I think it simply could have been left off after Alice's dance.
Heritage Posted March 19, 2010 Posted March 19, 2010 I saw Alice, too, and to be honest was kind of bored watching it; lots of Tim Burton films look great but don't grab me or pluck my heartstrings, and this was one of them. And you're right, other than the caterpiller's smoke and the Cheshire Cat, 3D was kind of wasted on this one.
N/A Posted April 5, 2010 Posted April 5, 2010 Clash of The Titans was one of the worst movies I've seen in years. It was just boring. The script was awful, there were no good lines, the actors had nothing to work with, and the action and effects never made up for it. You saw all the best moments in the trailer, including 2/3 of The Kraken's total screen time. Don't bother with it. It was a complete waste of time and money for all involved, the viewers and producers alike.
playah Posted April 17, 2010 Posted April 17, 2010 Just saw Kick-Ass recently and ... it was good. Really good Not much from the source was changed (granted, I havent finished the graphic novel), there was enough action, humor and suspense to keep me interrested and entertained for the whole time. The only gripe I have, is Nickolas Cage as Big Daddy. My god, Im not sure if his acting was so awesome its beyond me... or so bad its horrible, as if he didnt even try to make his lines sound remotely natural. Its not a good sign when a preteen girl does a better job than famous and experianced Hollywood actor. Also, some of the stuff that in comics came out of nowhere, here were obvious from the start, like the appearance and identity of Red Mist or first appearance of Hit Girl and Big Daddy. But hey, details, details. I liked it, oh so very much :)
quotemyname Posted April 17, 2010 Posted April 17, 2010 Good. That makes my decision to go see it soon well founded. Now I just need to find people to go with...

playah Posted April 17, 2010 Posted April 17, 2010 I dont know much about Adam West, aside from being Batman in 60's and doing a career out of it even long after it ended (hence the Adam Westing), but is a regular person supposed to see that?

quotemyname Posted April 17, 2010 Posted April 17, 2010 Have you never seen family guy? Adam West makes frequent appearances in that show, _playing himself_
playah Posted April 17, 2010 Posted April 17, 2010 Yes, I did and I know. But to avarage viewer (ie: one that doesnt spend hours on wikipedia or youtube) this is just bad acting, period.
Ecalsneerg Posted April 18, 2010 Posted April 18, 2010 Yes, I did and I know. But to avarage viewer (ie: one that doesnt spend hours on wikipedia or youtube) this is just bad acting, period. Look at it another way. We're introduced to the character emptying rounds into his daughter. Of course he doesn't sound like a normal person. He's bat**** ****ing crazy.
N/A Posted April 26, 2010 Posted April 26, 2010 AVENGERS, ASSEMBLE!!! In all seriousness, I'm really excited about this. Even if it does mean that the studio will cancel the movie and shut off the projectors in every theatre halfway through the premeire.
quotemyname Posted April 26, 2010 Posted April 26, 2010 I forgot to add that I saw KICK ASS. I loved it. It may not be the greatest movie to see time on the big screen, but it certainly was hella entertaining. "Really? A Bazooka?" "...Yea." "You're really going to take that?" "...Yea!"
Dr Archeville Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 IRON MAN 2 Movie Clips Grabbing A Quote Mark V Suit Prison Cell Tony's New Assistant
playah Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 Do we really have to watch the entire Iron Man 2 on short clips before it airs in theaters? Im sick of those trailers and havent seen any in months (which is about... 20 clips)
Dr Archeville Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 Some people like watching trailers and clips. Some do not. No one is forcing those who do not want to view them to click those links.
