trollthumper Posted January 25, 2017 Author Posted January 25, 2017 All right, then. The dogs will get hit with the smoke bomb, and while that will screw their visual, it doesn't seem to flag them all that much. However, Woodsman's bomb may switch that up... Only one of them makes the Reflex save. And... they all fail their TOU saves. As Minions. I'm going to say that three of them manage to weather the blast, so that the others have something to do. Hero Point for Woodsman. Crow: 26, Unharmed, 2 HP Woodsman: 22, Unharmed, 2 HP Grim's Puppies: 20, Unharmed, 0 HP Cannonade: 18, Unharmed, 3 HP The Sidhe: 11, Unharmed, 1 HP Grim: 8, Unharmed, 2 HP Gabriel: 7, Unharmed, 6 HP Cu Sidhe (3): 5, Unharmed, 0 HP Grim's doggies go next.
Fox Posted January 27, 2017 Posted January 27, 2017 Two dogs are going to hang back and interpose. The other three will pick a Cu Sidhe and attack! I freely admit that I mostly want to play with Trip, here, so. Let's do that, even at a somewhat bad disadvantage. Dog one: Trip! Melee Attack Roll vs. Cu Sidhe (Trip): 1d20+10 18 That won't hit. (Note that I had to edit the bbcode, here; the version in Orokos has a bad +4 modifier, because I'm a dunce and got ahead of myself.) Try that again! Dog two: Trip! Melee Attack Roll vs. Cu Sidhe (Trip): 1d20+10 24 There we go. Trip check! Strength Check vs. Cu Sidhe (Trip; Improved Trip): 1d20+4+4 21 Aaaand regardless, the third dog will just attack. Melee Attack Roll vs. Cu Sidhe: 1d20+10 11 DOGS.
trollthumper Posted February 6, 2017 Author Posted February 6, 2017 Cannonade is. And I am so sorry about the delay. The Cu Sidhe gets tripped by a rushing mass of dog. Crow: 26, Unharmed, 2 HP Woodsman: 22, Unharmed, 1 HP Grim's Puppies: 20, Unharmed, 0 HP Cannonade: 18, Unharmed, 3 HP The Sidhe: 11, Unharmed, 1 HP Grim: 8, Unharmed, 2 HP Gabriel: 7, Unharmed, 6 HP Cu Sidhe (3): 5, Unharmed, Prone (1), 0 HP So Cannonade closes in with the doggos, and punches one of them. Oh my. So that's going to be a DC31 TOU save, which... it cannot even. So it is a busted doggo. And now Takedown Attack! That hits, but not so hard. It's still a DC26, though, so that dog gets busted. Crow: 26, Unharmed, 2 HP Woodsman: 22, Unharmed, 1 HP Grim's Puppies: 20, Unharmed, 0 HP Cannonade: 18, Unharmed, 3 HP The Sidhe: 11, Unharmed, 1 HP Grim: 8, Unharmed, 2 HP Gabriel: 7, Unharmed, 6 HP Cu Sidhe (1): 5, Unharmed, Prone (1), 0 HP That leaves the one that is still down. The Sidhe is up next.
trollthumper Posted February 13, 2017 Author Posted February 13, 2017 All right, The Sidhe has not acted, so I am holding his action. Grim is up next.
Fox Posted February 21, 2017 Posted February 21, 2017 Dropped the ball here; my fault entirely, and I'm very, very sorry. Grim will run up and punch a dog. But not his dogs! The bad dog. Since Prone gives him a +4 to hit it, he'll take a -4/+4 Power Attack, why not. Melee Attack Roll vs. Cu Sidhe (+4 vs. Prone, Power Attack -4/+4): 1d20+12+4-4 18 That's why not. The dogs didn't do so well on their go, and I'd rather he not fall behind (or drag the thread out any more than I already did....), so I'll cough up a hero point there. Melee Attack REROLL vs. Cu Sidhe (+4 vs. Prone, Power Attack -4/+4): 1d20+12+4-4 20 Good enough. That's a DC27 Toughness save vs. damage. They shouldn't count as undead, so his Drain Tou won't apply.
trollthumper Posted February 24, 2017 Author Posted February 24, 2017 And that's another dead dog, which takes us out of rounds. I'll be posting a description of the scene tomorrow.
KnightDisciple Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 Gabriel gets a 24 on his Arcane Lore check to figure out what may or may not be a "thing" with this unicorn.
trollthumper Posted March 3, 2017 Author Posted March 3, 2017 The unicorn appears to be one of the relatively "pristine" times associated with virgins and Lisa Frank binders. Mind you, it's the fae, so the fact that it appears that way may mean it sells crack to preschoolers.
