Seeing as he's staggered and exposed Hyperactive is going to burn his hero point from the sniper escape as a reaction.

So that's a DC 10 constitution check?

Recovery check: 1d20+2 18

well while still phasing, HA is going to run into that car and if it's Dr. Van Raalte and his wife, I think he's only got the physical strength to lift one of them so he'll grab the doctor and use the effect others on phasing on him.

Okay, that's Hyperactive's action. Go ahead and recover, H!

Woodsman Power Attacks and shoots one of the thugs, taking 10, and hits automatically.

DC 26 Tou save - which he cannot pass.

Okay, Mannequin is up.

Going to use my high end speed and hurl myself towards the closest still invisible thug and Power Attack them with a +5 transfer.

Ok so quickness search taking 20. At a 27. I'm trying to find any kind of cameras or surveillance devices. Any way we could be watched.

Then I'm going to make a diplomacy check to try to get what I can out of these guys.

Diplomacy Check: 1d20+9 11

so... jack squat?

You find a camera and transmitter set up in the vacant house across the street - attached to what looks like a decade-old laptop with a now-cut Internet feed, so there's no good way to track it with what you have on hand.

All right! Well, there's not much to find here - it looks to be a 'burner' laptop that they picked up for cheap somewhere in Waco. It's running somebody's home version of Skype - recently connected to a single number with a Freedom City area code. Digging around gives you the portable radio that it was connected to underneath the van Raaltes' car that gave you the effect of the sniper being close by - looks like that was picked up at the local Walmart and tinkered with slightly.

There's not much to go on - but from the relative crudity of the instruments to hand (all of which are off-the-shelf store stuff), you're pretty sure that these people aren't quite as sophisticated as they look - or if they are, they've saved it for the invisibility gear that they must have had running in the van.

Sounds good to me, sorry for devouring all your plans! Maybe we could get another player in to mix things up?
