Kolohehonu Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 @olopi OOC for this: http://www.freedomplaybypost.com/topic/9592-supreme-ultimate-competition-bird-is-the-word-ic/#comment-251627 ok will need an initiative!
Kolohehonu Posted March 9, 2017 Author Posted March 9, 2017 Initiative: 1d20+4 7 well Jann is definitely going first!
olopi Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 Okay, for his first move, Jann^'s gonna go for a simple unarmed attack, which is DC21 if it hits: Attack: 1d20+7 13 Which it almost certainly won't! Well, anyways, post coming up.
Kolohehonu Posted March 9, 2017 Author Posted March 9, 2017 Ok well in that case Franz will attempt to strike Jann Attack Jann: 1d20+5 8 no cigar
olopi Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 Attacking for a Grapple: Attack: 1d20+7 25 That probably hits, so here's the grapple roll: Grapple: 1d20+13 17 Quick Reminder: The House Rules change some grappling rules, so if you haven't already give them a read!
Kolohehonu Posted March 9, 2017 Author Posted March 9, 2017 Escape Grapple: 1d20+6 26 he slips right out of that grapple. So so he will attempt to strike at Jann again. Strike at Jann: 1d20+5 11 well nope that's not a hit.
olopi Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 well, time to step it up a notch then! Using Acrobatic Bluff as a Move Action, so taking -5: Acrobatic Bluff: 1d20+13 22 ...ooof. Let's hope that's enough! And another attack, plain and simple: Attack: 1d20+7 16 That might just hit! If it does, DC21 Toughness.
Kolohehonu Posted March 9, 2017 Author Posted March 9, 2017 Toughness Save: 1d20+5 21 wow he just makes it
Kolohehonu Posted March 10, 2017 Author Posted March 10, 2017 Ok so he goes in for an attack. Attack!: 1d20+5 23 so the grapple will be Grapple: 1d20+6 22
olopi Posted March 10, 2017 Posted March 10, 2017 Opposed Grapple: 1d20+13 22 That's a tie. I believe the rule is the higher bonus wins, which would be Jann? Unless I'm mistaking?
olopi Posted March 10, 2017 Posted March 10, 2017 Okay! He'll attempt to go for a grapple himself! Attack: 1d20+7 26 Grapple: 1d20+13 21
Kolohehonu Posted March 10, 2017 Author Posted March 10, 2017 Grapple: 1d20+6 9 that means Franz is held. I think though he can still use his action to attack Jann? Not sure but if so it is a DC 20.
olopi Posted March 10, 2017 Posted March 10, 2017 That's actually enough, to by houserules, get him bound/helpless, Quote unable to move, or take any actions which require physical activity other than Escaping, with a Defense of (5 + size modifier). So he'd have to escape first
Kolohehonu Posted March 10, 2017 Author Posted March 10, 2017 Ok so then he doesn't do that! Good to know! Thought that took a second round, but good to know for Kid K!
Kolohehonu Posted March 10, 2017 Author Posted March 10, 2017 (edited) Grapple: 1d20+6 16 I think that means he escapes? man I never use grappling in any system. IF he does get free he's going for a kick. Kick at Jann: 1d20+5 16 That just barely misses Edited March 10, 2017 by Kolohehonu
olopi Posted March 11, 2017 Posted March 11, 2017 Opposed Grapple: 1d20+13 18 He stays in the grapple!
olopi Posted March 11, 2017 Posted March 11, 2017 Okay, Jann's gonna attack. As he's in the grapple, that's just a straight up DC21, with no roll, or the chance to tradeoff.
Kolohehonu Posted March 12, 2017 Author Posted March 12, 2017 Toughness Save: 1d20+5 13 nope he misses that dazed and bruised making it Jann's go again
Kolohehonu Posted March 17, 2017 Author Posted March 17, 2017 http://www.freedomplaybypost.com/topic/9607-supreme-ultimate-competition-the-freedom-winners-party-ic/ Here we go for the party
