olopi Posted September 26, 2017 Author Posted September 26, 2017 GM She was certainly speaking the truth. After all of that stuff, it would be fun, depending on what would show up. Cass could agree with that fully. He could also agree with the fact that it wouldn’t be quiet, so after the nod, he let the smoke expand, and lost his corporeal form, for that of just a cloud of smoke. Usually opening the vault door would take a lot of effort, a lot of man and machine power. Usually, one didn’t have a Paragon with them. And they were proven to be effective lockpicks. Inside, there was a set of stairs, perhaps 8 steps or so, which then led into the basement. The lights were turned off, but a quick flick of the light-switch revealed a clean room, with all the supplies needed to run a newspaper. And a hidden wall, easily spotted by Triakosia, which seemed to lead down some dark hallway, her unable to see much further than the wall.
Tiffany Korta Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 Dancia scanned the room taking in the all the important details, her senses taking in more than most people could manage. But her attention was drawn to the material used for producing a paper, she might have one been a Soldier but now she was committed to be a reporter. It was her focus and determination to get things done was what help her at both Dancia had often mused. "There's a hidden hall over there, though I can't make out too far into its depths. Though I want to check something first if you'll indulge me." That said she went over to the newspaper supplies to see what she could find out, and maybe just a little curiosity about the process itself. Okay, maybe a lot.
olopi Posted November 1, 2017 Author Posted November 1, 2017 GM Bonfire nodded (which, with his head looked quite weird), and just began to move towards the hidden door, checking out the wall to see if there was any sort of mechanism that he could use. Of course, brute force was always an option. The infrastructure, for it’s part, didn’t seem extraordinary. It was old-timey, nothing digital. Output probably wasn’t amazing, and there currently wasn’t any paper inside the machine, with a few large rolls ready to go once necessary tucked into a corner. It was only on closer inspection that Dancia realized something was off, and even then it was only thanks to her particular vision. There was no ink inside the machine. It wasn’t visible from the outside, with the indicator that showed it fixed to somewhere around 60% even though the tanks themselves were empty. Closer inspection revealed a modification that had fixed the indicator. But even when taking a look at the rest of the machine it was the only thing that stuck out.
Tiffany Korta Posted November 2, 2017 Posted November 2, 2017 Dancia couldn't quite tell why the machine was set up like this, either things were brought in or worse of all the ink wasn't needed for the weird printing it had been doing. These were times when she wished she knew about the supernatural stuff, but it was one of her blind spots that had caused her a few problems in the past. Still, there would hopefully be a chance to work out what was going on with it later, now they should really work on the who. "Have you found anything useful?" she asked Bonfire as she moved over to see if she could help.
