Supercape Posted June 8, 2017 Author Posted June 8, 2017 It is indeed! so a DC 30 Damage effect. Toughness vs crit: 1d20+10 26 and gets away with a lucky bruise (I presume its non lethal). But wait! whats this? a blinding flash of psychic pain! A DC 15 Will Save vs damage for Hyperactive! (See IC post)
Kolohehonu Posted June 8, 2017 Posted June 8, 2017 Yeah non lethal! Will Save: 1d20+5 13 ouch... I'm gonna hit him again! Attack Gold Star: 1d20+10 20 i hope that hits!
Supercape Posted June 9, 2017 Author Posted June 9, 2017 It does! but we probably jumped to far, as technically that was a reaction attack (Gold Star has effectively a Mental Blast 5 Extras: Reaction (being damaged) Drawback: Limited to ranks of the damage attack he received power for 34 PP!) So we could either you do you doing a surge to attack again? or roll back a post to Gold star responding with his own action, or...? Thoughts?
Supercape Posted June 9, 2017 Author Posted June 9, 2017 (edited) ok so we kind of skipped a bit of annotation, my fault. We should be at: Round 2 23 Hyperactive Unharmed 2 HP, bruised 17 Gold Star Bruised With the 23 action being your punch. Which means Gold Star is up again. GS will once feint, as a move action: Feints Hyperactive: 1d20+6 10 which you might fail could you roll? Punches Hyperactive again: 1d20+10 18 his attack might hit if you get feinted. ill post IC once we know if it hits! Edited June 9, 2017 by Supercape
Kolohehonu Posted June 9, 2017 Posted June 9, 2017 (edited) Save against Feint: 1d20+5 18 ok and then if that one I rolled already hits there's a will save for that. Will Save: 1d20+5 19 Also, wasn't Gold Star bruised by my Crit earlier? Edited June 9, 2017 by Kolohehonu
Supercape Posted June 9, 2017 Author Posted June 9, 2017 He was indeed! Edit made to add the bruise in. So to keep track we are Round 3 23 Hyperactive Unharmed 2 HP, bruised 17 Gold Star Bruised And on your (23) action, Hyperactive just hit, causing a DC 25 Toughness Save that Tough vs Hyperactive save 2: 1d20+9 25 he just makes (thanks to armour!) Post that IC (and the exploding reflexive psychic pain) and I will proceed to GS again!

Kolohehonu Posted June 9, 2017 Posted June 9, 2017 If he can, Hyperactive is standing out of reach, force Gold Star to move to get him.
Supercape Posted June 9, 2017 Author Posted June 9, 2017 ok so gold star will attempt to grapple Hyperactive Grapples Hyperactive: 1d20+10 24 And as he is failing, he will pull out his gun as a move action! And at this point, Sugar Foxx comes screaming in! Her initiative next round is: Initiative: 1d20+6 22 And we now have: Round 3 23 Hyperactive Unharmed 2 HP, bruised 22 Sugar Foxx, unharmed 17 Gold Star Bruised
Kolohehonu Posted June 9, 2017 Posted June 9, 2017 Can't hit what isn't there. I'm going to grab Parrot and run him out into an open space. Since Foxc is here I assume the set is open. I want to get him somewhere with cover.
Supercape Posted June 9, 2017 Author Posted June 9, 2017 (edited) Fox is currently standing at the entrance. But Ill let you grab and run with a DC 25 Acrobatics move to shoot around her. Also, the walls of the office are clearly rather thin (Toughness 7, flimsy prefab)... Of course other tactics like overrun or rush or something also available. Edited June 9, 2017 by Supercape
Kolohehonu Posted June 9, 2017 Posted June 9, 2017 (edited) I have affect others on my insubstantial. I'll phase us out. If that's ok. Edited June 9, 2017 by Kolohehonu
Supercape Posted June 10, 2017 Author Posted June 10, 2017 ok so to finish off this round: Sugar Fox will try to run after you. She has normal movement and not particularly impressive INT, so effectively this is doing little but treading water. Gold Star will come out and will fire his energy pistol at you. I presume you are still insubstantial at this time, so if its ok would you allow (for narrative sake) him to "hit" and just phase straight through you?
Kolohehonu Posted June 10, 2017 Posted June 10, 2017 Yeah absolutely! I hope nothing important is behind me! I do hope something dramatic like explosives are!
Supercape Posted June 10, 2017 Author Posted June 10, 2017 Great, post incoming. We are also putting some Smoking Wheels thugs in play, although again they are essentially irrelevant right now (See IC). Round 4 23 Hyperactive Unharmed 2 HP, bruised 22 Sugar Foxx, unharmed 17 Gold Star Bruised 15 Smoking Wheels [5] Unharmed 10 Everyone Else 0 The Parrot Unharmed
Kolohehonu Posted June 11, 2017 Posted June 11, 2017 (edited) Ok! Question! I know I can stop someone who is flying or running with my Move object, question is can I ranged grab Gold Star and just hold him in place? Edited June 11, 2017 by Kolohehonu
Supercape Posted June 11, 2017 Author Posted June 11, 2017 Sure. You have to hit and then it's an opposed grapple roll
Supercape Posted June 11, 2017 Author Posted June 11, 2017 Actually looked at the rules; grappling with Air control seems unlikely. At best its a kind of push effect?
Kolohehonu Posted June 11, 2017 Posted June 11, 2017 (edited) No, the kinetic drain right below air control Kinetic Drain Gold Star: 1d20+8 11 so nope. That misses Edited June 11, 2017 by Kolohehonu
Supercape Posted June 11, 2017 Author Posted June 11, 2017 Ah! Well that works for me! Although its a slightly odd way to do that power? I would have gone for Paralyse, resisted by STR, limited to reducing movement? Anyway, your call
Kolohehonu Posted June 11, 2017 Posted June 11, 2017 I've got a bunch of ways to do that Power, I do have his paralyze as well, but it's not as great against more powerful targets. I edited in the roll above.
Supercape Posted June 11, 2017 Author Posted June 11, 2017 Ok! So Sugar Foxx will advance towards you but doesn't really know what she is doing right now. Gold Star will shove past her - how rude - and fire again. Fires at Hyperactive: 1d20+12 17 missing! It appears to be that kind of miss-tastic thread. The Smoking Wheels will charge at you...I am not entirely sure of the distances involved here so lets say they reach melee, surrounding you, by moving all out. Round 5 23 Hyperactive Unharmed 2 HP, bruised 22 Sugar Foxx, unharmed 17 Gold Star Bruised 15 Smoking Wheels [5] Unharmed 10 Everyone Else 0 The Parrot Unharmed
Kolohehonu Posted June 11, 2017 Posted June 11, 2017 Ok then. Well I'm going to get out of reach of them and go at Gold Star and try to paralyze him. Kinetic drain: 1d20+8 16 so no?
