Borokrag is in my mind a very young dwarf (only about 80 years old!), he's not fallen into the depression and pessimism that grips his people as a whole he believes that the glory of the golden age of dwarves civilization is there's for the taking.

Whilst other dwarves empty tankards and mumble about the world as it stands, Borokrag and his cohort quest across their realm battling ancient foes of his people and retaking what has been stolen and lost from the halls of his people, not always successfully but never daunted.

His people retreated from the surface world so long ago that the sky is something from myth and legend to those that live today along with the other beings of the realms and Tales of Valour and Greatness.

It was only a matter of time before he took off in search of this mythological place known as the surface, eager to follow in the footsteps of the heroes of old in his war on the dark and wicked things that would see all of creation cast down.

Possible complications:

Death before dishonour: Borokrag holds himself to an extremely strict and very dwarven code of honour the tennents of which are many faceted and often extremely situational. a mix between the infamous Law of the jungle, the code of bushido and the oaths of paladins. these can cause him to act erratically and unpredictably and massively complicate otherwise simple affairs.

Big Boots to Fill: Borokrag idolizes the ancient heroes of his people and attempts to live up to their extreme (and sometimes exaggerated) Acts of Skill, Strength and Cunning. leading him to pursue solutions that are unreasonable or outright impossible.

Twist of the tongue: Though he has something of a learned grasp of english and Old Norse he has spoken his native dwarven for far longer than either and it is his instinct to use dwarven words for things that he either cannot pronounce or doesn't know the word for in the other languages.

In stressful situations such as combat he may slip fully into speaking dwarven, confounding his allies and interfering with his use of certain feats or render him unable to communicate untill he's sufficiently calmed down.

Prejudice: Borokrag may be discriminated against because of his height, none-human nature, use of magic, lack of religion, Sexuality, cultural beliefs or any number of other factors that he doesn't care in the least to conceal, leading to certain individuals, groups and organizations wanting to see him humiliated, Harmed or even Outright killed.
