EviscerusNox Posted May 31, 2017 Posted May 31, 2017 (edited) ok, this is my plan, i'm going to Power Stunt my Fastest Redneck Alive array for a nullify touche range Burst Area (Gas Power) Duration being Concentration. Basically going to whirlwind my arms to blow the gas out of the building to allow the others to get in and get the hostages out or fight without having to deal with the slowing effect. Using 1 Hp, down to 1 left. Nullify 10 (Flaw: Touch Range, Extra: Burst Area, Duration: Concentration) I think that's the right power to use, Let me know whether it's successful or not and I'll write up something IC Edited May 31, 2017 by EviscerusNox
EternalPhoenix Posted June 1, 2017 Posted June 1, 2017 Can you set the scene for me a bit, in distance terms? I'm thinking about using Stalwart's Thunderclap (50 ft radius), but I know he wouldn't want to deafen the hostages (it's an auditory dazzle, power feat of Super Strength). Would he have the room if he went in there?
Kolohehonu Posted June 1, 2017 Author Posted June 1, 2017 It would absolutely hit the hostages. Chapel is maybe 60 feet long by 30 feet wide. They're all being held very close to the gunmen. That thunderclap will get the hostages
EternalPhoenix Posted June 3, 2017 Posted June 3, 2017 How about Stalwart tears off a door and Frisbees at them? Small enough?
EternalPhoenix Posted June 3, 2017 Posted June 3, 2017 Then let's do that. I intend it to be a small Area attack, since not one target. So, whatever DC you'd like to assign it, to a max of DC 20 Reflex save and DC 25 toughness. at damage 10.
Kolohehonu Posted June 3, 2017 Author Posted June 3, 2017 (edited) I'll say you can take a shot at two of them. Dodge the door: 2#1d20+6 16 11 ok and toughness saves on both Toughness save: 2#1d20+8 9 20 so one goes down and the other is dazed and bruised. If you wanted to aim at Lurlene go ahead and let me know! I'll need to change some numbers. Edited June 3, 2017 by Kolohehonu
Kolohehonu Posted June 4, 2017 Author Posted June 4, 2017 Lurlene is going to take a shot at her Ex. Shoot Breakneck: 1d20+10 11 swing and a miss!!! ok! Hyperactive is up! Seeing there's one of these guys left he is going to go for her. Attack the wedding Crasher: 1d20+10 23 ok that means she has to make a DC 25 toughness save. Toughness save: 1d20+7 8 down and out!
Kolohehonu Posted June 5, 2017 Author Posted June 5, 2017 Can everyone but Pacer give me notice checks?
EviscerusNox Posted June 5, 2017 Posted June 5, 2017 Breakneck's notice is so not good but here it goes Notice Check: 1d20-1 18 huh, well, there you go!
Kolohehonu Posted June 5, 2017 Author Posted June 5, 2017 Ok! So Stalwart you notice that Lurlene has a set of high tech contact lenses in. They're glowing in her eyes. Both of you also notice a reddish haze around Lurlene's head and eyes.
Kolohehonu Posted June 8, 2017 Author Posted June 8, 2017 (edited) Pacer breakneck stalwart lurlene hyperactive Pacer is up! Give me another Save against that gas please to see if you shake Off the effects, please. Edited June 8, 2017 by Kolohehonu
EternalPhoenix Posted June 8, 2017 Posted June 8, 2017 http://orokos.com/roll/522930 21. Considering she was just slowed before, that should be more than enough to shake it off. Now, Pacer said she'd punch Lurlene later. So... http://orokos.com/roll/522931 20 on the attack check. DC 25 Toughness +1 for every 2 that roll beats Lurlene's defense. Yep, One Million Punches.
Kolohehonu Posted June 8, 2017 Author Posted June 8, 2017 Ok so that does wipe the slow effect! Because of the combat drugs she's using you don't hit her!
EviscerusNox Posted June 12, 2017 Posted June 12, 2017 Ok, so Breakneck I guess will try to hit her, but seeing as how Pacer missed might be a little difficult Beat Em Like A Drum Strike 11 Autofire: 1d20+9 28 Hope that does it! Attack is autofire so for every 2 it hits over increases DC by 1 DC 26 Toughness save as is though
Kolohehonu Posted June 22, 2017 Author Posted June 22, 2017 Toughness save: 1d20+8 22 so no she doesn't make that save and you daze and bruise her! mind posting in the ic if you get a chance?
Kolohehonu Posted June 22, 2017 Author Posted June 22, 2017 Thanks Nox! I think this brings us back to Stalwart.
EternalPhoenix Posted June 23, 2017 Posted June 23, 2017 Stalwart's had about enough of Lurlene's nonsense. So, he's 1. use a move action to get into melee range. 2. Use a standard action to use All Out and Accurate Attack feats, moving his attack bonus to +15, and attempt to start a grapple. It's a melee attack check. http://orokos.com/roll/528031 for 33. So that's a good grab, there. Next up is the Grapple check. Stalwart's bonus, with Combat Strength, is +31. http://orokos.com/roll/528033 Nat 20 for 51. So yeah, she's good and grappled. And 3. Now that's she's grappled, Pin Lurlene. So. She is Immobile, has lost her dodge bonus and 4 Defense Bonus.
Kolohehonu Posted June 26, 2017 Author Posted June 26, 2017 As per the ic I'm gonna rule that this takes us out of combat, since y'all would pummel her senseless anyways and this is more interesting.
EviscerusNox Posted July 5, 2017 Posted July 5, 2017 Would like to try and use Diplomacy to calm Lurlene and keep her from freaking out so she'll answer all the questions. using an HP for beginner's luck on it. Diplomacy Check: 1d20+7 26 That ain't bad!
Kolohehonu Posted July 9, 2017 Author Posted July 9, 2017 Ok can we do a scene switch if everyone is cool with that?
